I hope they will release bambino that is 38mm and has roman numerals🥹
ОтветитьJust bought the Orient Star Diver RE AT0102y0Y00B, brown dial, and man I think it has slipped under the radar. It is a little extra for some people due to the open heart but I find its so striking. For the money, I think it's so unique and I probably will never come across many people who have it or even know what it is which I find exciting sometimes. I have some mainstream brands which are recognized easily but sometimes it's nice to have something somewhat unknown.
ОтветитьWhat’s the white dial orient on the thumbnail called? I don’t think I saw it in the video
ОтветитьInteresting review of a range of mostly fugly monstrosities. Orient were probably relevant back in the days when you buy one for sensible prices from the Singapore greys. Not so much now. An Orient Star review would be good, but alas, their best watches, the Sortagiesers, seem to only be available from Japanese sellers these days unless you wish to drop your trousers and apply lube liberally.
ОтветитьGenuine leather is essentially made from the lower quality layers of leather, so it cannot compare to full or top grain leather.
ОтветитьI want to buy a watch and I want your opinion please. Casio or Citizen ? Thanks
ОтветитьNeed some help. I love the Orient Open-Heart. Where did you find the light brown strap? And great video!
ОтветитьProblem with orient watches is that they all come in very big sizes like above 40mm
ОтветитьI'm waiting for a mako 40 with sunburst dial...😢
ОтветитьWhat abt perptual calender frm orient . Didn't find that in u r list . Im planning to buy 1 frm the 1970's. Do u recommend
ОтветитьCan confirm Orient rubber straps are crazy long. My wrist is nearly 8” and there’s still pleeeeeeenty of holes to spare when I strap on their rubber straps even on the relatively short L2L on the Ray, on my bigger Triton (the OG ISO rated, power reserve model) it’s almost too long to be wearable.
ОтветитьKamatzu have worst crown, breislet like be on bottle , i don t understand Kamatzu ?
ОтветитьLike misprinted stamps or bank notes those Mako 3s with the wonky second markers might just become collectors items
ОтветитьI haven't received one yet, and I'm already ordering the next with reviews like this. Anyone know how to cure this addiction? 😄
ОтветитьSo you say the Tristar is finally going to be discontinued? Well, they've been pumping them in the millions since the 70s, so go figure...
ОтветитьI just bought an Orient open heart, I adore it!
ОтветитьOrient divers are very good! The other lines…….meh!
ОтветитьI just purchased a Bambino Sun/Moon V2. I am blown away at the quality for a watch which was a little over $300.
ОтветитьBadass divers
. Make sure to buy models made in japan research the model numbers. Thanks sombitches
Thoughts on the Mako XL? It’s my beater piece.
ОтветитьIm seiko fans, but after watching your vid,i want bought mako II.
ОтветитьLike always, great review Mate!! - I do like the Orient sub-seconds in the champagne dial, Neo Classic is sporty. I do have a Kamasu and thats always the best. I believe you missed the 1965 WEEKLY AUTO ORIENT KING DIVER - Reissue. very nice dial, hope you looked at it.. good job and thanks for all the effort and service.
ОтветитьOrient: If you know, you know.
ОтветитьIs the bulova lunar pilot good quality?
ОтветитьOrient actually issues new Tristar watches, and they are quite nice.
ОтветитьOne of my first watches was an Orient. Followed along almost throughout my schooling.
ОтветитьThank you very much for the review Ben! Besides the Mako solar chronograph, there is the Neo 70s lineup of chronograph watches made by Orient. I believe that it is worth mentioning or reviewing too.
I am so glad to realise that so many Orient watches are great in so many ways yet remain extremely affordable. I really appreciate this review summary of the best Orient watches available.
I LOVE MY KAMASU
ОтветитьHas the mako sport error been fixed on the markers
ОтветитьIf it ain’t Swiss,it don’t go on wrist.
ОтветитьI’d never buy a Japanese watch, the quality and quality control are not as good as their Swiss competitors at almost the same price. You can get a day date kamasu that beats at 3hz and is poorer quality movement than you find in a glycine combat sub that sells for about only a hundred dollars more. For that you get a 4hz movement and an instant flip date change at midnight so your not looking at your watch not knowing the day or date cuz it’s still in the middle of flipping over I hate that and almost every Japanese automatic movement has a day and date that take half a day to finally flip over, no, not for me I’d rather just pay the extra hundred bucks and get a good quality Swiss made automatic glycine or tissot with instant date change.
ОтветитьThey need to make a tank style watch. It will sell out.
ОтветитьI love ❤ Orient I have five
ОтветитьOrient light powered. During 23 years shows exact time, there is no any + - 20 seconds a day. Absolute exact time day by day, year by year..
ОтветитьI wish I could have one but I'm poor and can't have one but I'm still going to get a plastic watch 😔
ОтветитьVery helpful video. I'm looking to buy a new Orient and this is just what I needed. Would also love to see a video on the star models.
ОтветитьYour title kinda implies that it’s hard to find a good Orient??
I don’t think anyone believes that
Terrific review Ben! Bring on Orient Star next!
