You said that for the V version, only MUX is supported but no Advanced Optimus, which means
If you want to switch the mode from GPUon(dGPU) mode to another, you need to restart, make sense
However, does the V version support Hybird Mode?

Hybird Mode Definitions:
Enable both integrated and dedicated graphics cards. The system dynamically uses the integrated or dedicated card based on its needs.

I mean if it does support, I don't think the difference between V and non V would be significant on this
