I'm pretty sure there's no Player Window to do the thing with Practice Makes Perfect. Lola is just a massive mess. I haven't played Lola and I doubt I ever will.

Have you ever tried the custom Lola rework? She still has 3’s but she does at least have an ability even if it is inconsistent

Your dedication to In the thick of it and Charon's obol is impressive. She's at 6/6 already, aren't you worried of plain dying because of in the thick of it?

It is clear you are a Spike, and I agree that there is no reason for Spike to play Lola. But she is such an interesting puzzle to solve for a Johnny. Like maybe upgrading into all the +all skills assets (Geas, Black Fan, Crystalline Elder Sign) and becoming a stat monster with strong Mythos defense. Also, she’s the only investigator who can put Barricade (3) on SttP, which can give her interesting options for building a clue bunker to work from

If you evade Stubborn Detective with handcuffs and engage him, can you drag him around permanently as an upside?

I like playing weak Investigators as a challenge - particularly the easier scenarios.

Synergy Lola seems cool, the rest of it sounds like a headache. She could be a bad Mystic with off class help. Getting outside the class stat boosts then acting as a mystic could maybe be a possibility. I'd have to play around with it a bit before I presented a real idea.

I wish she were tabooed to just scrap her "ability" altogether. It should be fair enough to just lack an ability and have crap stats.

Also, based on your decklists, it's pretty clear you haven't really played Lola before. You're missing out on a lot of action compression through efficient events and assets. It seems like you're taking strategies that worked well in "S-tier" square-peg-round-hole investigators and not really trying to discover strategies that work for less-blunt investigators.

One thing I do know is that Lola Hayes always performs better in practice than she does in theorycraft when you focus on her strengths instead of obsessing over the role restriction. So, take that for what you will.

Lola is challenge mode Arkham. I successfully played her on hard (with taboo, without she is unplayable), I beat the challenge.
