Lords of the Fallen - Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel Boss Fight

Everything is super cool except for the name, Jude Cleric not only super long but corny as hell, but probably I’m just being a toxic souls fan at this point but it would have been cool if they gave her a name

I'm ngl the animation looks really really bad in most of these bosses and the sound design is awful.

Some lore for this boss ? Why phase 2 is with such an unholy persona ?

It's honestly looking like she should have been the last boss. Dig her presentation a lot more than Adyr's.

The movement of both player and bosses in this game is clunky, but except for that, the game looks very good, and finally the lips sync. First time ever.

I just finished the game, and this fight had me hooked from the get go with her fantasy Joan of Arc feeling.

God, my dumb ass accidentally skipped what I can guess in half the game and basically went and fought the brothers and the sentinel after Pietra in terms of major bosses. Like I thought the rest of the game was behind her, but it turned out that I just made a wrong turn at Pilgrems perch out the bell boss room.

Currently running through the rest of the game smiting everything, wondering what could’ve been.

This is my least favorite. Mainly because I dislike the fact that some of her attacks have a chance to leave their hit box behind and ill get randomly hit by nothing. And this isn't the only boss with this issue some bosses just have a hit box that lasts too long especially after perfectly dodging and you still get hit. Graphics are great but everything else was delivered very poorly, Xbox and Ps5 Multiplayer as well as pvp is unplayable and pve itself feels like they should have taken a couple more months and what support that opinion is that within an hour of release day there was already two patches for Ps5 trying to fix graphics and multi-player, they fixed the graphics but MP is still buggy for me.

I killed her on my 6th try, but with no hit. Why? Because God knows what happened but a bug made so all of her attacks wouldt not cause damage on me. I stood still to check. I could hear my grunts of pain when she would hit me, but thete was no damage. I killed her and then reported what haopened.

Was struggling so hard with her while all other bosses seemed to be well balanced/easy, after I killed her I realised I skipped 3 beacons and their areas. Somehow went to her straight after the first beacon

As I fought her, I was admiring how freaking amazing her design is, both phases are spectacular ❤️ Her Remembrance items are perfect too 🙌🏻

this fight could have been easier for me if they would fix the fucking performance. every red orb gave me insane stutter, my cpu wanted to kill itself I think

Her bossfight was really good, no bullshit attacks beside the arrow one and phase 2 deserved its own ost.


Edit: just relized she had a 2nd phase ost, but it was bugged in my fight 💀

Just got to her and I am about level 60. I am barely doing any damage. Best I did was get to her second form. I am a dual wield bleed build. Your swings with Pieta sword are doing twice my damage. I guess I need to respec. What level were you on for this fight?

I loved that boss, it was a blast to learn her movesets.

Is there not something in the umbral to watch after beating her? I beat her and can't find it anywhere

I think the problem I've been having with this game, it's how much tracking some attacks had and their variable range. It feels like is compensating for how fast our character walks/moves, but it leads to some instances where you feel like getting hit was unfair and unexpected. But, overall, I like this boss, Devla, the sundered Monarch, the lightreaper and the spurned progenie

So her name is Cleric? or is she a judge that is also a cleric? maybe Judge Cleric is just her full name?

Epic sound effects when she does that large explosion, wait nevermind it was completely silent for whatever reason.

Am I the only one who totally not expected Judge Cleric to be a woman for some reason? I'm not complaining though.

I don't really like many fight boss in the game but this one has to be my favorite

This fight is absolute bullshit she legit hits you to take health wild you are getting up plus the constant none stop spam of AOE is so stupid

Try to parry her more you can parry all of her weapon attacks including the sword and the spear but don't parry when she hits to explode the ground since that will still build smite/burn , and the second phase is the same you can parry her sword and the spear even the crystal attack charge attacks .

What I love about this fight is the juxtaposition between the first and second phase. In the first phase, her theme will be heroic, her armor golden, and she will even laugh and present herself as if there are cheers from a crowd. But this is all in her mind, this is her reliving her glory days in a schizophrenic episode, when phase 1 ends, it is revealed that it was an illusion, a farce, judge cleric is so corrupted that she even sees fire as holy, she is like an addict, attempting desperately to deny adyr’s influence over her, claiming that to wake her from her fervent memory of her glory days is a profanation deserving of death.

I loved the frame drops in csecond phase😂

This boss was epic!! Deffinetly thought her second phase was easier for some reason.

I find it rather odd that Judge Cleric is especially susceptible to radiance damage. I mean, I get that lore wise she’s been corrupted by Adyr, but still the fact that radiance build players can easily mop the floor with Judge Cleric, a character boasted by NPCs all throughout the game as this holy beacon of power and yet ironically she’s susceptible to the very thing everyone brags is her power.

This game deserves more

Probably my favourite boss in the game so far. Along with Harrower Dervla. Her two phases are quite similar yet they have different damage scalings for holy and fire. Solid ost as well.
