An oridinary car wont run this
ОтветитьPaint will never stick or last on a sharp edge. Other than that looks great!!
ОтветитьI love those Lamborghini Headlights on the 300ZX Def a time capsule
ОтветитьWhich car did the AC compressor come from
ОтветитьI worked on those systems for years and they are a piece of s***
ОтветитьI wanna build it on my 93 Honda eg !
ОтветитьF*** that's a nightmare.
Welding, 3D printing, cutting a bracket etc, etc
This is not worth it and a nightmare.
I wasted my time spending 4 minutes into this before I decided my time was worth more than watching this abortion process
Will this compressor work with any size evaporator and condenser combination
ОтветитьBoom boom EV cars
ОтветитьWow - 300zx EV, my fantasy!
ОтветитьThat's a great idea. Helps me solve an issues on my 6.4 Hemi. It has electric power steering why not AC 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI would be concerned having high voltage wires running around the bumper and maybe more inside the engine bay area instead in the event of an accident or so, along with the compressor.
ОтветитьYou look at sound like Dr Berg haha
ОтветитьI’ll rather keep it original instead of installing more electrical problems for the future like the newer cars no thanks I’ll pass
ОтветитьIm sooo confused 🤔. Where did you said you find this motor and how much did it cost??
ОтветитьWhat if I want to add a second alternator and keep my A/C … 🤔
ОтветитьI like the 300zx. The manufacturers must bring this car back into production. It was a good brand, however? The large engine made the car unstable during deep turns; But? That was the joy of the ride."
~The engine burns low fuel and the maintenance was limited once viewed occasionally.~👍
When I first saw that you were putting a 300zx under the knife, I really freaked out, as I am a '91 twin turbo owner. But I do love the direction the build is going. One question: for all of these small parts, instead of doing a rattle can finish, have you ever thought about powder coating? Those AC parts and the peddle stop would be prime candidates for it. I started with a toaster oven and powder coating kit from Eastman and moved up to an old oven that was large enough to do all of the covers on the original 30VG engine that was in my 300zx. Keep the videos coming!
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks. One important note: if you are reusing any of the existing ac system components from your vehicle, the system likely used PAG oil for the compressor, which in turn circulates through the entire system when operating. PAG oil is conductive and even a tiny bit can cause the electric compressor to seriously short circuit the high voltage system. You may need to do a special cleaning of the system prior to operation. Electric compressors use a different oil, such as a polyester-based oil, which is non-conductive. These oils are extremely hygroscopic, however, and once the conpressor is charged with oil, the system should be sealed as soon as possible to minimize moisture from air contaminating the system. Hope this helps.
ОтветитьThis looks interesting, how would you make it work with a GAS engine?
ОтветитьWhy not just turn on the car A.C.? Advantage? Cost, guaranteed. Alternator give very little amp at ide. You need to pulley gear it to be 2 k at idle or your burn out that costly alt.
ОтветитьEV is Junk
ОтветитьI thought about this. I thought about having electric a/c moded and hook up to intake manifold for better combustion. Would it give better power even with extra weight?
ОтветитьJay leno uses something similar on his old cars. Runs on 12v thought
ОтветитьWOULD BE NICE IF MANUFACTURERS WILL MAKE A ONE UNIT CAR AC THAT IS LIKE A WINDOW TYPE...MEANING LESS THAN $500...YOU CAN EASILY INSTALL AND UNINSTALL...SO WE DONT HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY TO FIX A MALFUNCTIONING CAR A/C
ОтветитьThey stole this from me.
ОтветитьGood information bedio....i have an Toyota Camry 2000 model....can i set this compresor into this Camry
ОтветитьI would recommend that you rubber mount the compressor to the bracket. These compressors cause a lot of NVH when they run.
Ответитьthanks for the video, You just gave me an awesome idea for an a/c powered air to water intecooler that will chill the water down to sub zero temps that will cycle through the intecooler increasing air density there by increasing power out put. An electric compressor wont be subject to wot conditions and will run continuously even while doing a 1/4 mile pull.
ОтветитьNice mod. What about heat? Is the compressor reversible? What's your plan for keeping the batteries a happy temp? 🤔
ОтветитьVery interesting compared to off-road fabrication
ОтветитьSo boring
ОтветитьWait, you missed #3. Whose name makes it the most confusing part if the system. What would a 'dryer' be for in system that is involved with fluid????
ОтветитьAwesome video presentations. Question: What would be your dream ICE conversion?
ОтветитьDo you sell kits ?
ОтветитьI was trying to figure this out for the longest time.
ОтветитьNot enough information about the project itself But.
Too much marketing not a good video
Pretty good welds
ОтветитьHas anyone told you that you look like Sal Governale from the Howard Stern show ? 😂
ОтветитьWOW..... So,..... revolutionary.
ОтветитьThis is dope because it just gave me hope of finally running A/C in VH45 swap for the 300
ОтветитьI would installed it inside the car
ОтветитьCool! Please do a video on the needed service on the AC dessicant 🙏
ОтветитьI hurried through this because I would not be able to do this due to all the fabrication and my project does not have AC to start with. But if I did, what do you do about the existing compressor and pulley that is run by the serpentine belt? You can’t abandon any of that.
ОтветитьYOU DON'T MENTION AT ALL HOW MUCH THIS PUMP COST ?????
DAVID ADAM GRENIS CURRENTLY IN HOUSTON TEXAS
VERY COOL!!!
ОтветитьThis IS the 'Thinking' that I need to follow to achieve my goals with my Gas Powered car. I need to see what you did in-like for the Power-Steering and the Alternator. I'm thinking of using a 'Thermal-Electric Plate' for a replacement for the Alternator.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI would love to do something like this. I have a 2003 GMC Envoy that has rear climate, but once I get a turbo kit installed, I will need to delete the AC lines going to the rear climate system. Plus, I'd love to run the rear AC without the engine running, and possibly off of AGM or Lithium batteries for camping
