Aro had chemistry with neither Dog-Bird and Sammaekjong. Both guys were too good for her. I couldn't watch either of their scenes though because most are with her so I would just fast forward to the scenes when the boys are together or when Banryu and Sooyeon are being cute with each other. The saving grace of this drama.

Park Seo Joon did his character so well together with Go ara that is their script and they acted well just bcoz they are not cheesy romantic doesnt mean they did poor

The first time I saw Jihan here in hwarang, I really noticed the resemblance he and junhui from seveteen have.... whenever I saw him in hwarang it felt like i was watching junhiu... I really fell for the cast especially hyungsik and him because of how good they act and how they aced that long hair.

Just to set you old kdramatics straight as this was my first foray into the kdrama world and I got hooked. So personally I had no preferences to the actors. This drama is based on real history where the king did not end up with a non-royal. Thus there was no hope for Aro and the cutest king ever. I never expected to cry real tears when V died and this couple was the cutest ever. I basically fell inlove with not only kdrama as a genre, but also with Banryu ( that smile is to die for and those tears broke my heart). I just finished Basketball, Lovers in bloom and The incarnation of money (which I binged watched just to see Do Ji-han) and I can't understand why he isn't in more dramas. I could literally spend the rest of my life watching this man. ❤
