ОтветитьFirst 🎉 nice Video!
ОтветитьI watch your channel with pleasure. Your videos are a true art that is a pleasure to watch.🟤⛷🍋
ОтветитьStanding them up like you did on your desk really shows the different size of the 3 drones. The Mavic looks huge. I also have the Air 3S and Mini 4 Pro. I'd like the Mavic but I'm in the US!!!
ОтветитьI wonder why they didn't use more of a laptop type folding mechanism. Then the screen would fold down and be protected and would be much simpler.
ОтветитьFully Agree. I think size and weight are important facts during travel.
ОтветитьThe lack of screen protection when folded is my biggest concern. I have a folding hood on my controller that protects the screen, acts as a sun guard and also means I don't have to remove the control sticks everytime. This cost me approx £15.00.(bargain). I don't think this will be an upgrade for me.
ОтветитьSo the HDMI output vs none (exept for dongle life)?
ОтветитьHello Sir, can we install third Party Apps in the new RC Pro 2 Controller please reply
ОтветитьThanks. Does the RC2 has the functionality to have the home point set up on the controller rather than the initial starting point? That is a huge feature in a lot of circumstances and would be the deal breaker for me!!
ОтветитьWell for some reason my last 2 posts have been removed from this probably because I linked the cable I purchased for my RC 2. So I will just say that if you do a search you will be able to find a cable that can connect your RC 2 to a bigger screen such as a portable monitor like I do. It's not the RC Pro 2 but it is a bigger display picture. Search for yourselves.
ОтветитьSuch a genuine review. Cheers.
ОтветитьI get your point, truly do,,but for me the rcPro2 is just the biggest upgrade in long long time,,, I really think that the whole drone flying experience depends mostly on the controller,,that is the thing you holding, touching, pressing, looking at,,,the drone is up in the sky anyway, so what you see is important,,I have the mini4pro and the air3s (both fly more combo) so had two rc2's,,,,now sold both, put some money to it and bought the rcPro2 separate,,, one controller for both my drones, niiiice!),,,I started flying like everybody with my phone, then used an iPad mini for the bigger screen (but wasn't nearly bright enough), then the rc2, ,, don't get me wrong, the rc2 is a fine controller, but I always wanted a bigger and brighter screen,,,,the rotating screen and hiding sticks are just a bonus,,,I don't have it yet (waiting for shipping - UK) and I really hope that I'm not going to be disappointed,,,here in the UK it costs £879 (yes! expensive for a specialized device) but If you can offset the cost like I did (selling two rc2's for a combined £470) I needed to put £400 Extra towards it, than it is more manageable,,,oh, and I do mostly "static" shots as you described,,, great content as always man!
ОтветитьI see your point, the DJI RC 2 it's small and lighter. Just like the DJI Mini 4 Pro is small and lighter than Mavic 4 Pro. But the RC 2 has the better screen and more bells and whistles. So it all comes down to personal use case scenarios. Great video Rob, and thanks for sharing.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice Vid! Clean HDMI output? Does it output vertical video format when which monitor into vertical mode? Tks! 😎
ОтветитьThe RC Pro 2 is, I think, DJI's biggest release this year(for prosumer drones). I checked to see if it would fit in a Mini 4 Pro bag, and I think it would. I also have an Air 3 fly more combo
I hear you on the size when in use, but the ease of deployment and ability to quickly fold away or put in standby, offset the in-use size issue. Folded away, it's only slightly bigger than the RC2. I wish I had this for the last couple of holidays. The number of times I did not use my drone because of not wanting to attach screens and cables(FCC hack) and screw in sticks!...hmm!
I have sold my RC2 and will be selling my Mini 3 Pro fly more combo to offset the cost of the RC Pro 2 (£879 UK)
Great review, thanks. If using the RC PRO 2 with the mini 4 pro, does the vertical camera have more than 10 degrees of adjustment up and down? I have no plans to purchase the pro 2, but it seems to be a sticking point in Mavic 4 reviews. I will stay with my mini 4 pro and air 3s with the rc2 and rc n3 and use the galaxy s9 tab attachment. I ❤ flying with all the combinations, just wish my editing skills could do justice to the equipment. Thanks again
ОтветитьYears ago I started using the Tripltek tablets to fly all my drones. Yes, it does take an extra 10 seconds to put it all together but that 8" high nit clear screen is just so nice. My phone is my backup control monitor. I think your review is spot on for real life practicality. No doubt people who use the RC Pro 2 for work or in a relatively stationary position, it's top notch.
ОтветитьJust don't unscrew the sticks on the RC2 and it'll be fast to set up too
Ответитьsuper high "gimmick-factor" with the new controller... wish functionality and practicality took priority in the new design... the accordion 🪗 design is undesirable for field-use
ОтветитьI wish creators compared the RC Pro 2 to RC Pro. Or I’m guessing the RC Pro isn’t compatible with the Mavic 4 Pro.
ОтветитьIs the brightness in the rc 2 really a problem?
ОтветитьThanks for your assessment. For me. The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. The biggest advantage I think for me, too, is going to be the possibility of sideloading 3rd party apps. ( I hope ... )
ОтветитьIve upgraded from the Mavic 3 and quite honestly im very underwhelmed. No ND filters, the RC pro 2 feels cheap and plasticky and the Mavic 4 pro 360 gimbal is a bit of a gimmick.
ОтветитьI feel.its overkill 😮
ОтветитьThank you for your honest opinion!!👌👊
Ответитьhmm, footprint not really the same, sorry i had to buy a new Carrying bag ...
ОтветитьMini 4 Pro owner here.
The RC2 Pro is out of my price range, so the RC2 that I have will soldier on. For the low NIT screen on the RC2, I acquired one of the sushade/cover combos out there, and find that they're a big help when you're flying on a sunny day. Just a thought!
I think it's an unintended positive that is not available in the US yet. Gives creators time to make full unsponsored honest reviews with no filter to really give us a chance to see if it's truly worth it.
ОтветитьI hate the new controller - looks like cheap Mini iPad put onto a adapter connecteed to the RC2.
ОтветитьI'm flabbergasted by the prices that DJI asks for this kind of equipment. The time that Chinese manufacturers made stuff that was cheaper than what their Westerner colleague's made is long gone. The quality has been augmented, so is their price setting. (thanks to Apple and Samsung?)
ОтветитьThanks for accurate information!
ОтветитьThanks for this honnest review 👍
ОтветитьI nicknamed the RC PRO 2 "Clunky Monkey"

ОтветитьLike many reviewers, you are comparing the RC Pro 2 with the RC2, when it is actually a replacement for the original RC Pro - which you have all seem to have forgotten.
ОтветитьYup, waste of money
Ответитьtoo much money... the good ole days you could buy an entire drone kit for the price of a controller now....
ОтветитьYou can use the Mic Mini with the RC2 as well. I just can’t see the justification of 1400 (with tax) for the pro 2. I am not getting almost 4X the cost worth of advancement and benefit. Big bulky and heavy. That’s a deal breaker as I am always on the move.
