I saw a few posts of FB selling knock-off versions of your 1st design dizzy dunker - tried to report them but no option, horrible!
BTW - try to post a video of moving the chicks from coup to tractor coup, that would be very interesting and probably fun (funny) to watch! keep up the good work!

Great video, their maternal instinct is an inspiring thing to witness.
If you have any extra quail eggs, I wish I could hatch them myself!!

Thanks for the content.
Keep up the good work.

If youre wondering what that pointed nose is for, dont think a deer carcass necessarily has maggots if its still moving. Opossums will use their pointed nose to enter the deer's exit and eat it from the inside out

I am pretty sure in some states it is illegal to relocate trapped animals. Even if you contact a conservation officer to relocate, they will take the animal and dispatch it.

Put fence horizontally around the cage. This way they can't dig (unless they start digging from far away, before the fence, but are they smart enough?)

It's after the eggs it won't kill birds !
I have them in my yard sometimes.
A possum never stays in the same area for long.

I raised chickens for like 7 years or so... I put a large trap on a path next to their coop and caught 30 opossums. I stopped counting after that. I always took them like 15+ miles away and dropped them off near the river bank. It's crazy how many were around my chickens, trying to get their eggs and/or the little chicks.

Another great video, and what a cool surprise! We live in the same area and also have poultry (chickens), but they're surrounded by an 8,000,000-volt electric fence. That seems to deter the predators just fine. 😂

🙋🏻‍♂️. To Shawn: don’t u think that the saturated fats from eggs and cheese is giving your kids glasses? I saw a girl go blind once from too many omelettes. I used to eat 20 a day. Started blacking out and had short term memory loss. Keep an eye out on their diet. 🙏

Great trap. Like you I have caught skunks in metal cage type live traps. Don’t think most people realize what it is like to be sprayed Usually their only contact is the smell of the skunk, getting sprayed directly is a different experience. Thanks for the video always enjoy your work.

How about lining the bottom with 2x4" wire mesh? So even if the skunk burries underneath it, it wouldn't be able to get into the actual coop. Yes, it would smash the grass down a bit when you move it to a new spot, but I imagine the quail would be able to eat it still.

About 10 years ago I rented a house that was a really good price. But in the Attic it sounded like a mosh pit at night. On this particular day two baby possums we're walking through the living room floor. I saw them out of the corner of my eye. They are cute kinda.
Anyway I let them go I don't know what happened later.

Awesome idea! Using the quail eggs as bait definitely won't train predators to hunt for them! Also, the trap full of broken eggs directly beside your animals was incredibly smart! Do you have CO detectors in your house?
