Way Of The Hunter - New Update - Patch 1.26.7

What new content would you like adding to Way of the hunter ?

Ribbons = what % your animal group is. Blue, just kill them all. Purple with star, the animal will never make it to100% but can reach to a 99% 5 star. Purple with squiggly line. The animal has a low 5 star potential and will never make it to 99%. Orange, they can reach a 100% 5 star. All birds can reach 100%. The ribbon colors will never change. They are permanent. 5 stars = (+1 %) even if they die on their own. Killing anything other than a 5 star, even if they die on their own, will result in a  (-1 %). Just leave the animal groups alone, sleep and go hunt something else for 15 minutes real time, which is an hour in game time, then sleep again × 3, or more. Now go grow your 5 star, if it's possible, to reach 100%. It's not on the 3rd day things change but the 4th day actually. It depends on what year the 4 or 5 stars are in too.. All of this is true for me. Geeze, what fun I am having.

Non typicals sound great. But when you were hovering over deer that is marked red what does that mean even though it shows high fitness was that meaning you haven't harvested an animal in that area yet or something different

I want to see spotting scope or something because just using binoculars and switching to rifle scope kind of makes it difficult when herd is moving throw brush or so on. Because should be able to see antlers better vs having to use photo mode

Wow Ron, never seen so many high level animals in one place..... I love this game but I am hellish with herd management. Am I right in thinking there is three days per hunting year. It takes 12 years to get a young animal to mature? I should focus killing matures on one and two stars ratings and mature females.

Can you still get a 5 star on "B" category land if you manage the herd well?

Time to reinstall and get back into this great game. These changes are excellent.

So whats the consensus on console frame rate? Still crap?

Ron is there going to be a population/map reset for new mechanic or just works seemlessly on your old map/existing animal trophy rating

Seems it's more like farm animals and less hunting.

I dont see how people are getting confused with "new map" when everyother so called new map has been called and listed as a reserve. This aint call of duty or battlefield but aight lol great video looking forward to this update.

I could NOT keep up how fit the animals were in my mind or when the next year started or where the animals were in their life cycle. This is gonna help so much! :D

there will be NO MAPS in the forseeable future, as stated in January, unless clearly reverted by the dev team... the forseeable future is one year. Point. This does not mean that the dev team will not do extremely good or that they deserve our outrage, AT ALL

you can't suggest a particular spot to anyone I bet, as it entirely depends on YOUR MANAGEMENT, how the population has been petted by you in that area

Thank you Ron for this info! I'm really looking forward to trying the new herd management update because I'm trying to complete the mission of finding a five star red deer in the Matariki New Zealand reserve in which I'm having trouble and I've put this game aside for a while until this update comes! For me the new content I want is to have a dog as a companion and it has to be a bloodhound, because I think I lost some game while hunting.

Is this live yet?

Can you not lie about a new hunting map? Its just quality of life updates for herd managments. So please dont lie when there isnt a new hunting map.
