It seems to me that blackjack is just a flawed game that shouldn't be in the casino model, regulators will rubber stamp anything for casinos though.

This should be a part of the game. It takes skill to count cards. Plus if you can do the probabilities in your head. They nerf the customer in order to ruin lives all for money. No wonder gambling is haram. It strips people of their humanity

People forget. Casinos are not in business to give you money. Having both parents been in games management here is what I learned. Greed gets the best counters. The house always wins. Sure you can win a battle but even me who worked only a few years can see peoples win/loss. It’s almost never what the player says it is. Basically a lot of fishing stories. 6MO, 12MO mostly everyone is down. If they care enough about you in BJ they will also assign you a skill level and then watch. People forget that even though there are not near as many Pit bosses they can watch from the camera but sometimes surveillance isn’t as game savvy as people who have dealt the game or watched games for 20plus years. My father could look at someone play a few hands and know if someone was counting. how? because he also could figure out when BJ’s are coming. He often just make conversation and that would be enough to mess up most people. Tell the dealer to shuffle more, Or flat out say, that’s funny your avg bet is 5 now your tossing in a few green on the top. Whats with that? I heard stories about the 80’s in AC but that was when casinos were not corporate. The other lesson I learned is the best bet is no bet, when in a casino. People now are more addicted to what level card they have than the dopamine hit. All gambling does is stimulate the same reward areas in the brain as drugs. Heard tons of stories of successful Asian (and non Asian) turn up dead getting into debt with the wrong people. There’s no need for a casino to be open 24 hours either. The hotel part obviously but at least when AC first opened they closed at 2am so people were forced to take a break. Don’t do drugs, have a few drinks, if your going to gamble just use it as a form of entertainment. DO NOT TAKE OUT MARKERS! If you think 10K in CC debt is bad try owing a marker for $1,500. It will be close to that 10k quick if no pay. And if you go out with a group of people to have a good time and you lose to much. Keep it to yourself dumb self and don’t ruin everyone else’s good time. I can’t believe I forgot my favorite line, “they took my money.” And lastly the casino is a private business and reserves the right to not take any action from someone they label an “advantage player”. However there are plenty of messages in the main casino system that will indicate they are an advantage player but still welcomed to play. However they will only let certain players bet so much. Anyone that’s half smart can learn to count. It’s getting away with it that is the art. Tip from a roulette dealer. When you buy in, toss them something as a tip right away. Only play sections, and look for an experienced dealer. Just because they are old doesn’t mean they are good. If. You take care of them, they might just out that little ball in your section a few more times. However, there was one dealer who was so good at this the eye would call the pit and say “tell dealer X to rotate that spin a little more.” other thing I learned. Dice is the most fun game in the house. Even if you’re losing. Don’t buy into the skilled 3v theory. The guy that claims to be the dominator is constantly down. And he’s a world class A1, 24k A Hole. So there’s that too.

I can't remember where, not at a Casino, but I've had ny Drivers License scanned by the magnetic bar in the back to confirm my identity, maybe a Bank? The Casinos don't need to enter your nane when they could scan your Driver's License faster.

I know you're a rookie/beginner. But the BIGGEST lesson here is NEVER...and I mean EVER, EVER give them your drivers license or ID card. If they're asking for that, you're in the sytem and you will be backed off everywhere. Unless you're 21 years old and look like a kid, theres no reason for them to ask for your ID>

the fact that they have the power to kick you out if you win too much which is the purpose of going to a casino is a huge problem with the law.

Counting cards isn't illegal in Vegas but the Casino will spot and wash the card counters really quick because they'd lose money. Haha!

Card counting shouldn't be so frowned upon, it's a straight up skill. Casinos are just mad that card counters have beat them at their own game lol.

It's absolutely insane that they can just ask you to leave like that. I guess there's a social engineering aspect at play - your confidence, going in at noon, and eagerly playing with chips in your hands like a seasoned pro were likely big tip-offs. If you adjusted the camera you were wearing on your person at all, security likely caught that too given how dead things were. But it's just insane that they'll ask you not to play a game. If it wasn't clear these places are corrupt rip-off schemes before, this video serves as proof.

I turned 21 in a casino town. I did single deck blackjack since it was all over back then. Lost money, and as a college student. Got even. Walked myself back, never gambled again.

Look you're going to be trespassed at all the casinos unless you get some kind of other system which I have. You must have a 10,000 buy-in to be able to play it. Play simply playing the 1-2-3 strategy you'll win 6 out of 7 sessions.
