I almost threw myself down the bridge today to end it all, I had no care at all for anyone. Right then i was smiling at the absurdity of everything and as i was about to leave it all, I got reminded of this song which depicted the sillyness and freedom i was feeling in that moment. I could've done it, but i did not. The song ended in my head once I left the bridge, and so Im back to feeling terrible again.

When I was 16, one of my closest friends moved away after our sophomore year of high school. However, before he left, me and some other friends of ours all stayed over at his house one last time. It was fun, we chilled, hung out, played video games all night, and we were all up all night. The next day, the entire sleep deprived walk home, I listened to this on loop, as one phase of my life was coming to an end and I was gearing up for the next to begin. Now that one is over too, but I can't help but think back to that moment a lot, especially every time I hear this song.

i dont think anyone has noticed this, but solace has a piano (or keyboard) in it that is playing the original riot. i like the fact that earl used the same riff in this song, because it shows how much hes changed from solace. not only that, but the fact that the songs are glitchy and sound like a broken record gives them a human feel to them.

This song makes me tear up every time I hear it. It is like a musical interpretation of depression and suicidal ideation. It sounds like it's trying to be happy, but it just can't get to that point. Incredible to make such an emotional sound that's only 67 seconds long.

Such vivid memories of the first time i heard this song. Loved Tyler, never even bothered to check out any other odd future, but Earl's name was one id heard before. This track popped up in my recommended, and i clicked it expecting some sort of aggressive banger-why wouldnt it be, with a name like Riot? But what i got instead was so good that it made me check out Some Rap Songs ... And i never turned back after that. Love this song

This song sounds like the ending to a depressive episode or depression in general, like a light at the end of a tunnel but knowing it’s a long ways from finishing your battle.
