This man is a monster, evil .
ОтветитьThere is no question he killed his family it's not even debatable anymore just like Simpson killed Nicole our judicial system is a a disgraceful of don't ever ever have jury trials people are uneducated racist stupid let the judge judge have the final decision people are idiots
ОтветитьI fell in love with Gary Cole with this mini series his portrayal of Jeffrey MacDonald is so good! I read the book before I watched this I realty believed he was innocent. I have a signed movie script for this. I also have letter from MacDonald and a huge box full of FOIA crime and trial files from this case that a writer kindly sent to me that he had gotten . I really thought he would get released but I dont think he will now . Such SAD AND INTERESTING CASE and then the Timothy Hennis, connection
Ответитьafter all these long years I see this case still brings in a lot of great debates. I got into this case when I was so young and its still fascinating. And the Timothy Hennis, case too sad heartbreaking and both a addiction of mine
ОтветитьSaw this when it was first aired, and been engrossed in the case since. The fact he wanted Robert Redford to play him in the movie speaks volumes about JM. Glad he’s still incarcerated
ОтветитьI can’t believe it’s been almost 40 years since this 2 part miniseries was shown on NBC television in November 1984, but I vividly remember watching it as a teenager. Macdonald is guilty and he knows it, and this miniseries sealed his fate.
ОтветитьThis is weird, going back and forth on this movie? 😮thumbs down, confusing?
Ответить.... Very sad.... I've seen this a long time ago.... And yet people still don't learn....
ОтветитьOJ case?
ОтветитьIt didn’t help all the people just walking in and out of the crime scene, misplacing evidence and losing it to. If they closed the crime scenes like they do today then there wouldn’t be all these cold cases from decades ago
ОтветитьWhat was the motive though?
ОтветитьI don't think there was another actor to portray Freddy Kassab's character role better than Karl Malden! Karl NAILED this!!
ОтветитьSo good! Old are the best 👍🏼
ОтветитьGary Cole was amazing in this.
ОтветитьIf it wasn't for Freddy Kassab, MacDonald would have gotten away with it.
ОтветитьI love the flashback scenes with Colette, Kimmy and Kristy! Wendy Schaal does such a great job playing Colette. She comes across so sweet and you understand that she just wanted a happy life with Jeff and the girls. And the young actresses who play Kimmy and Kristy are adorable and good little actresses
ОтветитьUNFORTUNATELY, COLETTE AND THE CHILDREN NEVER GOT JUSTICE! HE WAS NEVER EXECUTED FOR HIS CRIMES!
ОтветитьSo glad to have found this! I remember when it first came out!
ОтветитьThankyou x
ОтветитьGuilty as sin!Everything in his testimony was fabricated and total bullshit!
All pins down to that he was a playboy who loved chasing women and didnt wanted to be trapped with a wife and two children and a baby on its way!
Just fyi….Judith is the lil girl who played Kimberly. She was murdered in real life as a child by her father. Very tragic.
ОтветитьHe could have got away with the murders if he staged the scene better, and kept his ego in check. Fortunately, he didn't.
ОтветитьThe actor who plays Jeffery Macdonald really resembles him!!!
ОтветитьAndy Griffith did great as a crusty federal prosecutor!
ОтветитьThe way the book is written, and movie is presented,McDonald is is 100% guilty. Anyone who reads and watches is will automatically think he’s guilty. There are other books,”Fatal Justice”,and others that present the investigation as not being completely accurate, though.
Ответитьthe acid killer-hippies are still out there...
ОтветитьDo you know the girl playing Kimberly Mac Donald was killed by her father to ?
ОтветитьI watched this over 30years ago it was the only time I seen my father cry 😢 he's evil and should rot slowly in hell I have to say Karl Malden and Gary cole played excellent parts as did everyone else it must have been difficult to play that 😞 well done absolutely fantastic 😊
ОтветитьPrayers for Colette, Kimmy, Kristy
And Mr and Mrs Kasab. 😢 54 yrs ago.
I noticed that also first sitting on the couch now bed... anyone notice how he says he loved his wife and 2 little girls, but never mentions about the wife being pregnant
ОтветитьThey just don't make 'em like this anymore
ОтветитьDoncha love how lil Jeffey Poo and his attorneys act as it THE REAL HORROR is poor Jeffey Poo being even QUESTIONED OR DOUBTED, ooooooo the horror of that, never mind what his defenseless wife and little children suffered.
ОтветитьThis was Gary Cole's 2nd film.
ОтветитьToday I'd Gary coles birthday. Great book and movie. Sad subject 😢❤
ОтветитьThis is a good quality upload.
ОтветитьThey were ahead of it's time forensics research.
ОтветитьHaving read the book I recall the author wanted to believe him innocent by the end. He felt he was guilty 😔
ОтветитьI recall from the book that McGinnis noted that when Helena Stoekley was finally on the stand in front of MacDonald, he had zero reaction to the ‘supposed killer’ (per his case) of his family. No rage, sadness, anger, anything. McGinnis thought that was just not a true human reaction if he was telling the truth.
ОтветитьThe evidence was there Jeffrey MacDonald is guilty of murder.
ОтветитьI would always respect any woman with me and the daughters he had. It's sickening what he did
ОтветитьGary Cole did some amazing acting in this movie.
ОтветитьIts very chilling to think the actress who played Kimberly, Judith Barsi was actually murdered by her father 4 years after this movie was released.
ОтветитьHe is now at FCI in Maryland
ОтветитьInnocent
ОтветитьHe was a psycho.he killed his family for money
ОтветитьExactly why did you wreck your life and theirs
ОтветитьMacDonald's prosecutor, James Blackburn, ended up doing prison time for embezzlement from his own law firm. Tried to blame it on depression. He wrote a book allegedly about his own case, but all he could do was talk about the MacDonald case and gave verbatim conversations that were obviously fabricated. He should have done more jail time, considering how much money he stole.
