You should buy the electric Mercedes van and put all this stuff in there, it is expenisive and you can’t get it maintained anywhere but it can fit in any parking space and it is large, like very large

Did this for 3 years with my 2 toddlers. I will never go with a van anymore. It has to be a big Prevost for me. It was fun for a while till it's not anymore. The longer we lived in it, the more I felt homeless. 😅😅😅

You haven't had any trouble yet, but you are 100% looking at transmission and/or engine failure soon. Your build is ridiculously heavy. Why does nobody seem to comprehend payload ratings? Between your build, your bodies, and your belongings, you are way over the payload rating.

I give that van a year tops before total trans/engine failure regardless of how many miles were on the odometer when you began.

Promaster is a mechanical pos. Should of gotten a transit high long 2500 or 3500.

I hate to tell you bought the biggest lemon ever made, I had to rebuild the motor in mine twice and had to rebuild the tranny at 100 thousand miles. Everything about them are junk. Should have bought a ford.

The Ram Promaster is a rebadged Fiat that is sold in Europe.

This is by far the worst van you could buy. Tranny will fail by 100k guaranteed.

What is your mpg ? I’m looking at the 159” , I’m hearing only in the teens, that’s not so good to me, but you can stand up in it, my other choice is minivan, I can’t decide yet.

I have the 1500, Wheel Base 136, just like you said but, the night driving headlights are awful. I don’t need to drive at night very often, or for very far, fortunately. It’s a 2020, High Roof, and have had to replace amber lights x2. 1 headlamp, and the camera had issues in 2022, I still haven’t replaced that, as it was quoted as expensive, yet not covered under warranty. I have yet to replace that, and visibility is good with stealth mirror usage, and slow back ups, where I cannot see, with no side windows in the cargo space. My mechanic recommended it, and I am glad, to be able to stand up in it.

No offense but man those promasters are so ugly.

I work on a fleet of 2021-23 promasters.
I'm sorry to say but they are horrible vehicles. We have several with bad transmissions with less than 60k miles.
They also eat up a/c compressors and have can communication errors constantly. The evap system also vents under the driver area causing an extreme fuel smell during hot weather driving. I could go on....and on....and on. Get the idea?
