I love this scene so much. It establishes that this fellowship have a long combat history and are completely in sync with each other.

The CGI in this film is poor.

I don't get the people who complain about this scene. That the goblins die too easily, the dwarves are too OP, there's no tension, etc. But why does every fight scene need to put the heroes in genuine danger? Are we no longer allowed to have scenes solely dedicated to showing our heroes kick some ass, with no strings attached? I mean I don't get bored from watching Superman beat up a bunch of bank robbers who wasted their time and bullets shooting him. It's obvious that the bank robbers won't be able to hurt Superman with their weapons, but I still want to see him pulverize them into next Tuesday before wrapping them in a steel girder and flying them off to jail.

This is one of the most funniest and great battles in the Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings movies

It seems to me we are missing critical parts in all these. I'd rather find a different channel that doesn't skip parts.

I hate it when filmakers make the scene so dark and black that it is nearly impossible to see what's going on.

Didn't like the singing and comedic introduction to the goblins but absolutely loved this escape scene. Yes, it's over the top, but it is such a fun part of the movie to watch the action. Beautiful

The dwarf fighting style in The Hobbit trilogy is same as: "fight smart, not harder"

I love how silly everything is. This kind of shenanigans doesn't really work for LOTR, but this is the hobbit, it's inherently more ridiculous in tone.

This entire scene is almost 4.5 minutes of absolute carnage. It’s one of the better foot chase scenes I’ve seen in a movie.

I can't believe the same person who directed LOTR made this. Just a bunch of implausible, over the top video game sequences instead of cinema. I try to ignore this version exists.
