Did not help at all. Infact the download percent went way lower

i tried it and then i took the files from the downloading folder and pasted them in the common folder but then it validated and deleted the files from itself but i still have the files in the downloadingh folder what can i do please he whole game was downloaded but it said disk error so i tried restart but it started the download from the begening i cant re download 75 gb please help

It somewhat worked. After copying files from "Download" folder to "Game folder", you have to "Uninstall" the game from Steam (Right click the game > Manage > Uninstall); this will remove files from "Download" folder but your game folder files will kept. Then you click "Install" again and make sure you are installing in right disk if you are using more than one Steam library location; it will automaticly check files and will resume somewhere middle. My download progress was something like 50/60 GB but after the process it started at 24/60 GB, so I lost half the progress but recovered half glass of water too.

It worked for me i wad downooad war thunder and my download was at 70% and whne i came back from school it reset at 1% i did all the steps and only lost like 5% great work man you just earned a sub

I’m downloading a 150 gb game, It was at 75%ish I followed this video and it only restored 9% 😭. On top of that my WiFi is absolute trash so it’s gonna take 3 days to fully install, if it doesn’t restart again 😭😭😭

Sadly i lost everything..... i was downloading a 30GB game (84GB but compressed or something) so basically i was downloading the game and i accidentally cleared download cache which just ruined my downloading progress im just sad. It took 2 days to get to 95 percent and now.. everything gone😢
