how's the guitar ... thought about getting one of these and starting to customize it I'm pretty sure these pickups are killer but i had no opportunity to test that guitar yet

I thought the guitar was very nice stock as well. The neck feels good, and had good sustain. I also put a Tone Pros bridge in it, and replaced the three way switch with a nice pre-wired Switchcraft from Emerson Custom. I might put some Sperzel locking tuners on it as well.

Are these the long shaft or short shafted ones?

why must the riffs be boring? why?

Playing basic riffs is a good thing in a presentation if you ask me. If he'd play something very special, I would concentrate too much on what he plays instead of the sound in general (which is why I came here).

this amp really sucks like all the tiny amp stuff

does anyone know how much these typically cost?

does anyone know if they are active or passive?
