I'm 100% onboard with you except where the human species comes from! The Book of Genesis tells the story of creation, of the sea, the sky, the birds and animals and, finally, Adam. Chapter 2, Verse 7 reads: The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Eve was formed out of Adam's rib.

The planet is in trouble because we have forgotten or fail to realize where we began and Who was, is, and forevermore responsible for our existence! God is the ultimate conservationist, and He will make all things right in His own time. God gives us free will, something that other species don't share.

Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”

Humans are NOT fulfilling Gods plan and therefore the earth as we know it is in decay, but we are NOT ultimately in control, disagree, well look around now and historically, has the human race ever fully functioned in unison? Not since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden.

I've been a boater, diver, sailor, world traveler for as long as I can remember and have seen the changes in our oceans, coral reefs, pollution, and deforestation all over the globe, and it sickens me to see what we're doing and with NO end in sight!

Protecting this planet is a good thing but asking for Gods help is the ONLY way to accomplished it, otherwise, mankind will continue to plunder the earth for profit, control, and greed! Tell me I'm wrong...David
