Man you are really having some luck for the teaching series Lime! Good to showcase all the things a player would want to eventually look for. I really like the swing and shove technique too, easy to remember. Very neat that the zeds have randomized stats, I never expected that. Thanks for the knowledge dude!

So far, Build 42 is looking very awesome. I'm enjoying this "back to basics" playthrough so far...keep it going man! After all of the challenges you've done in Build 41, this is a nice change of pace!

how did people start build 42? mine is still 41 despite updating it

Going to play this soon after done with PoE2. Watching your video to get up to speed with all the basics and new things is helpful :D And as always you tell a good story so its also fun to watch.
And, what I love alot about Build42 now is that you all play Vanilla, so not with 5000 mods etc so its easy to just go in and follow the guidance.

I can't play the buil 42 until mi pc is fixed, so i have a question. ¿The muscle strain is specific? I mean, if i use a hammer in the right hand, and then i change to the left hand this may allow rest the arms right?

Hey Lime. I just watched surviving day 2-3 after watching day 1 yesterday. And I totally forgot, but your PZ play through series were one of the few leisures that got me through living at the hospital for 2 months during my son’s chemo treatment back in 2022. Just wanted to say thanks for making such entertaining videos full of life and love! You’re the man Lime and it’s going to be amazing to see you back on PZ again with some fresh new play throughs! small little changes: keys now have weight. cars do sound if doors are left open with the engine on. there is an arrow marking fuel intake. also, vehicles do heat if left under the sun, getting 40+ ªc (>>100F?) on a sunny day, not ideal

Well today i learned you shouldnt attach rope to chickens at night. it dragged me into the chicken coop and now i permanently cant leave it. I can walk around the map and interact with everything but the game acts like im not looking in that direction so everything is unrendered and going near stairs just makes the camera freak out for a solid minute before teleporting you to the next floor. Guess this save is broken now.

Since it's kind of a instructative series why don't you watch Life and living? I mean, it's free xp and since the update, leveling crafting skills is a bit more tricky...

I'm 1 and half months into my first build 42 playthrough and I havn't found a 'how to genis' mag yet. My firat character died going into the riverside school trying to find one... Awesome video dude! I am loving build 42 so far. I really want to explore more but man, it is difficult now. I wouldn;t want it any other way though!

I usually love watching you play pz through but this new teaching mechanism during playthrough is awful. Can i suggest reuploading the same video but with a voice over on the how to's. 😢

It's really fun to discover what mods were added as basic features in B42! You can play the instruments, some Authentic Z, some crops from various mods, and so much more. I'm having a blast playing and it feels like a whole new game.

Hi, I'm returning to the game for the animals! Can you do a video on Sandbox settings? It seems apocalypse is 'standard' but I know I lot of people play with tweaked settings, and I rarely survive long enough to the point where I can start actually cleaning up the base and working on bigger projects. I saw Builder mode but I was worried that'd be like playing Minecraft on peaceful. What do you play with when you're just playing for shiggles? What would you recommend to make planning and sneaking still important, but base building less stressful? Which settings impact the feel of the game most? Love and happy yule <3

I love how the Build 42 Level Design is very heavy on Environmental Storytelling. As time has gone on I've encountered alot of Houses that look like Abandoned Player Bases. You can see that they were Lived in, Looted garbage, and various items strewn around like the time I was thinking of buying a Foreclosed Home...Never again... One house I found early on was in Pristine condition out in a Rural area with an Empty Chicken Coop, Well etc. No sign of Habitation 2 Vertical stories + 1 subfloor. Alot of Animal Hides on display, Stock Certificates in an Office Drawer. Childrens Room with Books on how to Make Money, and getting revenge on your Enemies.

Had Rich Guy's Vacation Home all over it no TV. Its little details like that which makes me feel like I'm playing a Zombie Fiction Novel, and not a Zombie Video Game. Feels like Zombie Rules, or Mark Tufo's work. Suffice to say I have a love hate relationship with Romero's Work because the Zombie Apocalypse doesn't have to be a Horror Movie. I pet a Lamb and then Drank its Milk wearing a Tarp made from Garbage Bags as I led my Flock through the Forest armed only with a Hatchet, and Home spun Burlap Clothing....Best Game Ever!

Experience with Moving Animals without a Trailer...I needed to move a large group of Lambs to my Base, and got a Bunch of rope, and was able to move 7 Lamb's simultaniously. thought I had a straight shot back to base, but forgot about the Fence in the way so I took a Game Trail, was jumped by 3 Zeds, and deploying my Axe caused the herd to Scatter. Lost some of the herd in the process, and then another instance when I tied them to a Tree I came back to find that some of them had fled I'm not sure what happened there. In any case I got a breeding set of Lamb's back to my Base, and about the time the Power went out they started producing Milk...Dude I've got Gallons of Lamb's Milk, and it apparently doesn't need refridgeration, and I have churned out about a dozen Sticks of Butter so far, and the Milk also seems to help with Depression( further testing required) and also helps with Pain issues, or suppresses muscle Fatigue (but further testing required)

Either way I love my precious Lambs. I haven't tried being a full blown Nomad Shepherd yet, but given that what you need predominantly is water, and Grass you could pretty much Survive indefinitely in the Forest, and have some Fuzzy Friends to give you Food, and Fiber.

And its seriously giving me consideration to buying some Lambs for Real. although with real Lambs you couldn't walk away for 3 Days, and Milk them its just not how it works in real Life, but Video Game Lambs. .

Can you go around and fill all the sinks and bathtubs with water to store for later?

Might mean nothing but I had the hardest time finding a how to use a gen magazine and finally found one in one of those work vans too, I think that might be the new place to look out for it in build 42
