Why did he cover the Spotify example

Why do we have to suffer this low resolution with the added crop for advertisement? The ad is legible, the super cool stuff the presenter is teaching is not. That plus the twitchy mouse and rapidly glossing over the most important details are making this very frustrating to follow.
