Did something similar. I took the dead battery pack apart, then connected alligator clips to the positive and negative terminals of another fully charged battery, then I jumped the positive alligator clip to the dead battery terminal and tapped each individual battery with the negative clip till each one sparked. Reassembled the dead battery pack and placed it on a charger, started charging immediately. Works perfect and saved myself $40.00
ОтветитьHi I know this vid is a year old but I thought I'd give it a go ' I was recently given a black and decker alligator but no charger I've looked online and can see chargers but none really say if there for the alligator type battery ' what I'm getting at is my friend says he has charged different types of batteries with just one type of battery charger I think by pulling the wires from the charger and connecting them straight to battery itself " so rather than spend what looks like from what I '' can't '" make out £ 30 to £60 on a charger could I some how atleast test if the battery will charge that came with the saw ' by Jerry rigging a charger .I won't hold it against you fella if you blank me
Ответитьif I had all that equipment life would be easy..
ОтветитьJust been given that type drill with that very problem. Many thanks for the simple answer and the time and effort in uploading.
ОтветитьJust used my b6 Lipo nicad charger on dewalt worked great thanks
ОтветитьMy Milwaukee 18v has 4 slots in it which line up with 4 prongs on the charger. How do I hook those up to each other for a recharge?
ОтветитьIts like you talking Chinese to me!! How is that simple??
ОтветитьI basically have a brand new 24v firestorm. Bought it brand new and it didn't last anytime before the batteries went dead. I'd love to get it going again because it still has a lot of use left in it, but I can't see spending the money to purchase new very expensive batteries.
ОтветитьAnd did it continue to hold a full charge for long ?
ОтветитьSo what does it cost to get all that stuff if you don't have any of that? I don't see the connection clearly, how it connected?
ОтветитьAn interesting concept going on here. The average person doesn't have a great deal of expensive electrical equipment sitting in their home to repair a cheap drill battery. Cost of equipment versus cost of cheap drill battery. The answer is obvious, buy the equipment and if the battery ever goes dead again, you're all set to repair it again. Why would the average person not want to have all the fancy equipment not sitting there. After all a drill just pokes holes.
ОтветитьBecause everyone has those alternate chargers available....
ОтветитьYou must be from Canada EHH
ОтветитьNow u can buy adapters on Amazon for $10 that let you use major brand lithium ion packs that will last a loooooong time.
ОтветитьYour vid is all well and good, However I do not have the equipment that you have nor do I have the knowledge. So sorry this video is useless.
ОтветитьWorked on my cheap Ozito battery from Bunnings. You just saved me $50.
ОтветитьHell if I had all those tools, meters, gadgets. Id just go buy new batteries.
ОтветитьI attempted to parallel connect two Milwaukee Li batteries but did not work. I connected a known good M28 to a V28 that had been in storage too long and wouldn’t take a charge. They did not balance out as it seems that the M28 has some type of internal protection that keeps it from being connected that way because each time I attempted it the indicator led’s on the good M28 would start flashing in some form of test pattern. I currently don’t have a volt meter so I’m flying blind but any tips would help. If I purchase a power supply, what type should I purchase and at what settings to try and bring this V28 battery back to life? Thanks!
ОтветитьA Real Comedian ! ! !
However, I found that I can buy a Schumacher DSR Proseries DSR127 8-Bank Battery Charger, 6/12V, 2-12 Amps for under $1000 and then run it in parallel with my NOCO Boost Max GB500 and using them together I can revive this battery for less than $3,500, but that's at todays prices.
Stupid video... Let me get all that equipment..
ОтветитьThat's neat. Can I send you my battery?
ОтветитьWhat can I do if I'm getting 19.8 volts but the tools only work for less than 1 minute. Anyway to salvage the battery?
ОтветитьI repacked my NiCD battery with lithium ion cells to kill the memory issues with the nicads. Might be a good idea to clip in a pulse charger in your circuit too as it can break up the memory wall issues when you have a multi-cell pack like that (battery 1 is dead and battery 2+ are all OK still).
ОтветитьGarbage, bought the new drill and never used it for a few years and now it wont charge fuck that never buying black and decker again
ОтветитьWith as bright as you are..... black and decker drill really?
ОтветитьI would be capturing solarwinds if I had all that equipment
ОтветитьLooks like a nice power supply you have. What model and make is that one? Thanks.

My Black and Decker transformer/
charger doesn't put out 18V D.V. is the transformer bad?
The people who are passionate enough about electronics to create a channel to help ungrateful sorry asses, like all of you complaining, are the type of people who are going to have this type of expensive equipment. This is their hobby. Why would you want advice from an amateur doesn't invest in what they do? Its like you want "one quick trick" using only a paperclip. Dumbasses.
ОтветитьI think you tapping the battery with your hand is what actually healed it. You should take that show on the road, maybe write a book, a couple inquisitions and crusades later you'll be leading the land of make believe.
ОтветитьI got inspired by your video to boost my old drill batteries that haven't worked in years and i just got them working today! Thanks very much for your video!
ОтветитьIndeed. Safely charged my Black & Decker NiCd 18V ~ Charge at 0.12A 20.5V
Ответитьlove that fix! very steampunk!
Ответитьesty battery hap sps 14.4v
ОтветитьMake a 12v cc charger
ОтветитьI hate that them don’t include another battery so I can do the paperclip trick..
ОтветитьSo how about for a female who doesn't have all this fancy stuff? Is my best bet to buy a new one?
ОтветитьThese are the worse batterys I've ever had, bin
Ответитьgrt video, ty. how to open it to have a look? mine has a weird rounded screw!
Ответитьis there a way to recover these batteries without all this other electrical equipment? is the problem with battery memory? or with the charger?
ОтветитьI've the same battery, A1718 for HPB 18 cordless drill, which drains the charge over some days without use. what could be the problem? is it time to replace the complete battery? kindly advise.
ОтветитьOkay but where do I get all these electric gadgets to recharge my drill batter ?…
ОтветитьExcelente producto
ОтветитьPretty sweet eh!
ОтветитьI guess if you dont have 1000 worth of electrical meters and power supplies , your gotta buy a battery
ОтветитьHi, I have two completely dead batteries and no black and decker charger. Is it possible to jump them with a milwaukee m18 battery (lithium)? I do have a hobby charger.
ОтветитьBut you are a nerd with lots of kit no one in their right mind has
