Hi Norman. Great technique! Thanks for sharing! It looks great! 🤗🤗
ОтветитьLove it thankyou
ОтветитьI was wondering about something like this and oo la la here it is. Thank you!
ОтветитьLooking forward to trying this! I think it would’ve been asker to see in colors that weren’t so close, though.
ОтветитьThanks for this technique that should be easy for me as I already know how to do Kitchener stitch!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThe number of times I've rewinded and rewatched this video is astounding. This is probably one of the hardest skills I've ever learned, so thank God Norman has a video on it!
ОтветитьHi Norman. Can you sort out my problem. How to find which number needle to use for knitting .Is there any trick to find out as some yarns donot mention the needle size. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your instructions and help. This made me knit again after 30 years! Easy to follow and calming to watch and listen to you. So thanks again.
ОтветитьWhat a lovely method! Thank you for teaching us
ОтветитьThanks for a great tutorial! Clear explanations and easy to follow. 👍🏼
ОтветитьThank you for your answer ! I will go and look your other channels.
ОтветитьJeepers, it's just taken me two full days to do this; I had to keep undoing because I kept making mistakes hahaha However, I finally got to the end of a double-knitting project that has taken me ten months (knit, make mistake, unravel, knit again, another mistake, unravel, knit again... ). I actually finished! I just need to weave in the ends now. Thank you so much, Norman; I learned everything I needed to know about double-knitting from your videos! 🤗
ОтветитьI had trouble following this tutorial and had to re watch it in slow motion about ten times. It wasn’t a problem with the instructions. It was just hard to remember the directional difference between knitwise and purlwise with a sewing needle vs a knitting needle.
I could understand that the steps were: sew knitwise, off the needle, sew purlwise; sew purlwise, off the needle, sew knitwise, but I couldn’t memorize it.
I finally just memorized this sequence:
out off in, in off out.
Then I could do it.
I appreciate this tutorial very much.
Norman, I watch your videos every time I want to learn some neat new technique. Not only you'll surely have it, but you're a joy, Norman!, clear, precise, and you don't fill our heads with your life story before going to the knitting! If I am feeling blue, I just need to watch any of your videos and I'd be fine. Thank you. ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video! I'm making a double-knitting blanket with different squares and it worried me how to join them when the cast on and cast off edges look messy. This plus invisible cast-on for double-knitting will make it all so much cleaner!
And you're exxxplaining it very well, it's easy to follow.
Cool method! Perfect for my double stockinette blanket!
ОтветитьThank you. Your instructions are so easy to follow.
ОтветитьI used the two-colored Double Knitting cast on from your video of cast on techniques because I liked the contrast stitchwork. I presume if I wanted the same contrast I could separate the sides as in your first step, but then use the opposite color yarn and otherwise follow these instructions?
ОтветитьThe first time I tried I couldn't even do it, but, I got it done on the second try. Each day the double knitting gets a little better, so I am going to work on it a little more every day. You are an genius at teaching and a very generous man to give us all these lessons, spending your time and your money. Tommorow, first thing, I am going to give the Kitchener lesson a run through. ❤. Eva
ОтветитьThank you so much for your knitting tutorials. I really enjoy learning from you 🤗
ОтветитьWhatever I need to learn in knitting, you’re always there for me.
ОтветитьI’d also like a tutorial for increases and decreases in double knitting.
Ответитьhey! the tutorial is super helpful, but I was wondering when I should cut yarn b? should it be done after the purl row is complete?
ОтветитьHello, thank you for this amazing tutorial.
I would love to have the same for a double knitted 2*2 ribbing in two colors, i don't find it anywhere. Or maybe if someone knows and would be ok to try to explain it written here.
Thanks a lot 🧶
Thank you for the clear instructions ❤
