1. push boundaries & challenge social norms, moving our culture in inches towards progress even if it offends or talks about things we’re not supposed to acknowledge OR 2. To provide escape & give people a moment away from their fears & pain. Nothing heals like laughter. The only thing that comes close is music but laughter is #1.
