HOARAH LOUX, CHIEFTAN OF THE BADLANDS, THE FIRST ELDEN LORD, GODFREY
Ответитьˈɪɡdɹəsɪl
ОтветитьJust created a barbarian with this subclass and mixed it with a storm Goliath in my current campaign. The rest of my party has yet to meet my 8ft character.
ОтветитьAOI TOUDO!!
ОтветитьOkay i really didnt care for this subclass until you went over it.
Its freaking amazing with lvl 6 alone
With two World Tree Barbarians, you could have an effective move speed of 70ft. One runs 30ft ahead, then teleports the other 5ft in front of them so they can do the same thing.
ОтветитьUsing that teleport, with a party who can all fly, to teleport straight up into the air is a very funny mental image
ОтветитьThe limit does not exist :D :D :D
ОтветитьPair the battering roots + branches of the world tree with a rogue, and that’s at least an extra 5d6
ОтветитьMaking a huge, scary centipede-centaur with this subclass!!! Can't wait to be an absolute TERROR.
ОтветитьFor getting early access, do you have to give it good marks in order to get paid?
ОтветитьHonestly, this is just Groot from the MCU.
ОтветитьFly cast on me tp enemy to me drop them 30+ feet prone.. drop on someone else smash them prone tp back up…😅
Ответитьi find it funny how WotC can turn a blind eye towards cultural appropiation when it suits them, but then they go out of their own way and destroy the game every unnecesary opportunity! :D
ОтветитьThat subclass will be a dm rager
ОтветитьI've never been into the martial classes, because I love my complex spellcasters too much. BUT, I am absolutely playing this barbarian subclass when I get a chance, it sounds amazing!
ОтветитьI joined a campaign recently so I have to binge all the content I missed between the time I joined the previous campaign lol
ОтветитьFirst off, praise the erdtree.
ОтветитьReally love your content. I will resubscribe when you vow to drop WOTC as sponsor.
Ответитьjyggdrasil?
ОтветитьYo-yo barbarian.
ОтветитьGod this sounds awesome. I played a barb frequntly. And im gonna bring out my giant wooden club for this
ОтветитьThis sounds amazing. Barb is always my favorite class to play when I just want to turn my brain off and hit stuff, and all the added mobility and control is so cool.
ОтветитьI can’t wait for y’all’s review of the new Eldritch Knight
ОтветитьI'm in a campaign that's nearing its end now. I'm really hoping the DM starts a new game using the new material because I'd really like to try this subclass. My current character is going to be a dad soon and I can picture a really cool half firbolg world tree barbarian. Especially since my firbolg ranger likes to teleport all around the battlefield and use Sentinel to drop the opponent speed to 0.
ОтветитьThe dance bard that Ginny Di previewed looks really cool too. I don't usually want to play a bard, but I'd play that one.
ОтветитьCompletely agree with the barbarian needing the ability to push people around. That's why I love the Juggernaut from Tal'Dorei Reborn.
ОтветитьGoliath world tree barbarian with a frozen greataxe lesssgo
ОтветитьI appreciate the mean girls ref
ОтветитьGreat video. Small nitpick. It's not "Ee"gdrasil. You guys should google the pronunciation. Spread awareness of the scandinavian "Y" and "R" sound. Close though. :D
ОтветитьLove it! Might actually play as one when the time come. However! Does Vitality of the Tree when given to a nearby DOWNED ( 0 HP ) player, stabilize them,/ cancel death roll/ even revive them with temp HP? Or is it only " true/ standard " hp that does it?🤔
ОтветитьI'm disappointed that there's no Path of the Giant Barb in 2024 D&D, but this absolutely seems to cover (most of) the same areas, so I'm all for it!
(I still prefer PotG tho)
I am Groot!
ОтветитьThe ridiculousness of the Barbarian class continues. It has been twisted so much from the original intent of the class. It’s yet another attempt by WotC to bury the origins of the game and its designers and make it their own.
ОтветитьI think it is so cool that you can seemingly teleport allies (if i am intepreting this correctly).
Also I am factually unsure how of a role BG3 barbarians played in some of the other decisions, but i am inclined to credit Larian Studios for popularizing both throwing enemies and pushing them off cliffs.
Either way, I can't wait for the hijinks!
IDK if anyone mentioned it, but the topple with reach has its drawbacks. You'll want to do the knockdown on the last attack, otherwise you'd be at disadvantage when attacking a prone target outside 5 ft range.
ОтветитьTagteam Worldtree, two Barbarians, each give the temps to each other 🙂
ОтветитьBahahaha it's tree ball!
ОтветитьSo they just made a fighter/druid/mage out of the barbarian. I don’t like it
ОтветитьCan you just teleport the enemy off the cliff? Do you have to teleport them to the edge and then knock them off, just yeet them with the teleport instead?
ОтветитьI am really looking forward to this subclass.
ОтветитьYou did say Yggdrasil correctly btw
ОтветитьThis has made me excited to play a barbarian
Ответить25-30ft reach whip acting like world tree vines. And also plays into the get over here reaction.
ОтветитьBasically.. Tentacle Barb
ОтветитьPersonally I just can’t see the reason to get the new books. I still have 100 characters I haven’t got to play from 5e. Which is probably the case for most adults.
ОтветитьSave rolls are not mandatory. A player can always decide not to roll. At least, that's how I've always understood them.
ОтветитьThis is going to be a menace in any enclosed combats. Indoors, in a cave, any place with walls. Between the insane reach and teleportation abilities, this subclass is a WALL.
ОтветитьI like the flavor of the sub-class, but I'm surprised given Wizard's skittishness regarding cultural references such as ki that they would lean so heavily into Norse/Slavic mythology.
