The BMW 5 Series History. The 6th Generation. (F10).

I have an F10 550ix but I honestly can't tell if its a modern or luxury?? Its a 2014. Any clues?

7 years later my F10 550 looks as if it just rolled off a showroom floor. Such a kingpin of it’s segment.

I like my F10 but it doesn't stand up against my old E39. Some of the tech is OK but there are just too many things about the F10 that really grind my gears. It's a shame because it is a good car overall.

I drive a 1998 e46 320i as a daily driver and it runs Like new. I love the smooth 6 cilinder 😉.

I just love the F10 5 series because it maintains a sportiveness of a sedan segment but it would better to buy the M- sport edition which has more elegance and sportiveness

If I buy I shall buy the M- sport edition of the BMW F10 5 series it became my favourite car of sedan segment

I have a 2013 528i xDrive, I see the lane assist / departure on my instrument cluster but I don’t have the button under my light control, is it not available for me to use ? I been going crazy looking for the option. Thanks in advanced

The best 5 series

The BMW GT series of hatchback illness spreaded to all series like cancer and in the end killed the 6 series... son of a bitch of a car, i hate it.

The best looking 5 series made in my opinion, it looks amazing, especially in luxury and SE trim, for some reason im not the biggest fan of the m sport. It looks better than the current models (not to say they look bad)

All you need to know:
Transmission failure after 120 000 km costs 12 000 Euro!
Crap everywhere. I do not buy bmw any more!

Still has timing chain problems...😩

2011 STRAIGHT 6 NO TURBO WAS THE BEST YEAR

It's been 2 months since I bought my used one-owner, 59000km, 2014 M550d, and it looks and drives like new. It hadn't seen any rain or snow during the first 7 years of it's pampered life. I absolutely love this car.

The F10 is the second best looking 5-series. The best looking is the E34, and I also own a 95 540i with 6 speed.

Just bought a 2012 one wow it drives amazing and very comfy

The F10 and the E39 are just beautiful

I went from E90 and let me tell you I’m proud I upgraded it to the F10 and uff amazing car ❤️‍🩹

I miss the naturalness and neatness of this time. Now it is too exaggerated and not natural, so I don't get attached to it. The old cars are definitely cool

I owned an E39 530i years ago and always missed its sportiness. Fast forward, I'm buying the F10 LCI next week. I can't wait to be driving The Ultimate Driving Machine again.

E39 and F10 were the best 5 series. Obviously the E39 was better but after the E39 the F10 is a complete timeless masterpiece built with accuracy and quality
