im on ww_16.063.1910.44_0 (world wide / global) phone is a chinese hardware model (with tencent logo on the back)
all hardware works great (besides the front facing camera focus is locked and doesnt autofocus)

but the themes and wallpapers is completely empty, asus store app, asus theme store, is completely missing
cannot change lock screen clock...
i read this from many users now

Got mine some weeks a back and the phone it self is beast but the buttons aren't the same as they were when it was new even tho never dropped my phone but still can tell that there's a little problem in them tho u can't feel it all the time as it's not much however loving mine!

Beast of a phone. I wanna get this phone as a gaming device. I think my Shield K1 is already past its time, struggling in many games now unless I reduce resolution or something. Kept waiting for a successor but I don't think that's coming. And other tablet brands, like Samsung, will sell you a tablet at flagship price but the components are on par with low-mid range pones. Making them bad options for gaming. Unless you go for a $1K+ tablet/pad. This phone will be better, and the addons would make it even better. The controllers, the dock. And the few negative aren't stuff I care for. Like the camera, which seems to have the right hardware but needs software improvements. But my main phone is always a LG V line so cameras are cover there. Wonder how well the Tencent Edition run on the US. I don't work for the government and its not like Microsoft, Google and Facebook aren't already spying on us 24/7. I think the 3 is around the corner so the 2 price should have drop. Man Asus or another gaming brand needs to make a gaming tablet. If Asus, I want this device, but with a lot bigger screen. I don't know, between 7 and 10. With the side controllers and the dock I'd take that over a Switch.
