Up to what capacity can this docking station utilize? 4/6/8TB drives possible?

It did not help me as to how to hook up, and use. I'm new at this.

FYI- I have one of these I bought 10 years ago. Went to use it the other day and it was having problems with E-SATA communication and USB did not work at all. Took it apart and found the 4 capacitors (47uF, 16v) beside the SATA slots were no good and also saw that one of the 3.3 voltage regulators was getting hot. Found a SMD capacitor was shorted beside the regulator. Replaced the items above and now its working good.

I have had 3 of the new blacx duet usb 3.0 versions and they have all had issues with connecting/disconnecting, not powering on, causing hdd corruption and finally the last one just gave out completely and doesn't boot up.
