10 Year Old Tries To Open CD Case

If searched my house i will find horror movie cds. I dont know why we had it cuz my family never watched it.

I'm 17 and I'm Greek me and my brother at 7-10 used to hear music through cassette and cds because it was more fun. Now everyone is on their phone doing nothing old days were better😓

Thing is... Who the hell told US how to open a CD case? no one... but I'm damn sure I figured it out faster than this kid... she almost makes some good moved, like at one point she looks like she's trying to open a cassette tape.

Really blow their mind and give them a cassette, dial phone or a floppy disk and get them to explain.

I still buy cds once in a while if there's an album I really like. As a kid I LOVED my cd player and would rather be holed up in my room listening to music lol

You couldn't even buy a digital only gaming system until the last few years... this is definitely a failure of parenting and doesnt have to do with the child. Maybe, idk, watch a movie or play a video game once in a while? My whole house prioritizes digital only and we still have CDs kicking around, even one from 20 years ago that still functions the same. Theres no reason a 10 year old today shouldnt know what a CD is... even schools are usually years behind in technology... has she never had movie time in a classroom? Im only 13 years older than this girl, and yet 10 years ago we were still using actual VHS tapes in classes.

I am 14 and Idk how she doesn't know about CDs. I grew up with CDs, bought my first one when I was like 5. I had some money saved for getting good grades so I got to go to Target and thought it was amazing to buy a CD. I listen to CDs now because they sound better than every format except for vinyl and tape. Most of my friends at my school still buy and listen to CDs.

I was 10 in 2019 and I had gotten one and I did it first try surprisingly. A year or two after I gave my 8 year old cousin one and now it’s a viral video from what I’ve heard and it’s in the depths of tiktok. (It took him about a minute to open)

To be fair I also struggled when I opened my first cd just like this because the opening doesn’t have a grove in the middle like a DVD or VHS like I was used to

I'm nearly a gen alpha, but I was born a few years earlier. I know how to use cd's, dvd's, vhs, c casettes and I was shocked to know most people don't even know how to write on a flip phone or like a "button" phone. I grew up with these stuff and only got streaming services last year, so yeah.

That is just sad.
