Tiger signing off gn spartans
ОтветитьI remember people being disappointed with this game when it came out because it didn't have it's own unique multiplayer (it just reused halo 3 multiplayer), but I always loved it purely for the story and world design. I'm glad it has this following today of people who love the game, but it sucks that people who obsess about multiplayer couldn't let this gem shine when it was new.
ОтветитьI found this vid when it first came out. It’s been sitting in my watch later playlist since then. I’ve never been able to bring myself to play it. My life fell apart “suddenly” while in reality it had been decaying for some time. In my darkness I was afraid of ruining my memory’s of these games, the music, the stories, and the people I shared them with. I feared that if I came back to these memories while in that dark place that I would forever associate the two, ruining the good times.
Over the past few months I’ve noticed a lot of changes, in myself and my life. I see the world differently, I worry less, I fear less, I felt truly at peace. Unfortunately it took years of darkness depression and fear, followed by a period of apathy but I finally managed to pull it together and feel free.
I’m sorry to say that in the past few weeks I’ve lost a close family member, and soon one of my closest friends is moving away. Compared to before my mental and emotional state has diminished. That being said I can confidently say that I have overcome my lowest point and although there is still work to be done I know I’m better. I’m here, I’m back to the halo community. I feel sorrow while watching and listening to this as I let myself reflect on the good old days I also feel a sense of comfort and joy. I’m grateful that this community has continued on without me and I’m confident it’ll continue on, because no matter how bad it gets for any of us there will always be something out there to bring us together, even if it’s just the fact that we share disconnected memories of war we all fought both alone, and together.
Rambling over.
Es como volver a tener 9 años :'D magnìfico 🌹🖤
ОтветитьSome of the most beautiful music ever
Ответить44 min i was lile wth are those sounds
ОтветитьIdk about anyone else, but every year on a random month I always come back to this music. I remember being a kid and playing this game and just experiencing the high it gave. I wish I could go back in time to just watch myself play and wish I could tell my younger self, to enjoy as much of it as I could, and to be happy in school. It was just a simple time. Go to school, come back home, play, and repeat. I still do for the most part today, but no game is like the old ones, where Bungie really put their heart and soul into a game. And I think honestly, it’s because game makers don’t make a lot of money to survive like in the 2000s and every game is rushed to just make a quick buck and onto the next. Or they just purely focus on a free game with just a bunch of cosmetics.
ОтветитьI've had this video on repeat for the past few nights. It really helps me feel at peace in my mind when it seems like everything around me is a chaotic hellscape.
ОтветитьThe only Halo game I will defend. Suck it, Reach fans.
ОтветитьMy friends will argue that reach or 3 has the best soundtracks and they might be really good but sometimes simplistic beats epic
ОтветитьWake up brother you’ve been asleep for quite a while
ОтветитьWhy did they ruin video games with woke bullshit
ОтветитьThanks a lot, it’s relaxing and i feel asleep ❤
ОтветитьWhen I played through the campaign of ODST with my frog friend, I thought the gameplay was alright. Nothing to write home about, but decent and quite enjoyable, but the music was incredibly special. It felt out of place quite often though. As beautiful as it is, it's got a somber bluesy jazz vibe that just doesn't fit right with the gameplay or lackluster story.
ОтветитьI'll never get those times back. I played with my dad, my friends, and my brother. Sometimes, it makes me genuinely sad to remember. My life was halo for many years
Ответить- Hello Traveller, Mombasa welcomes you.
- Anxious? Stressed? Please remain calm.
- Control circuits now open, with pride.
R.I.P to all the brothers who passed away since this master piece dropped.
ОтветитьI always want to come back here
ОтветитьSuch lovely
Ответитьits all too bad the people behind this left bungie nearly immediately after...
Ответитьthis tugs on my heart every time! ♥
ОтветитьWhen I'm sad I usually return to this video. It helps. Thank you.
Ответитьat this point I would rather play ODST type games than the Spartan ones. and also game were we play as civilians escaping enemies and fighting our way out of the chaos. I really want a railshooter that goes like that and plays as well as Dead Space Extraction. and ODST shotter games that are similar to Speck Ops The Line.
ОтветитьThis video is top-notch quality.
ОтветитьIt was a hell of a night
ОтветитьScenes like this are an escape from reality. That quiet moment where you can admire everything around you, without the bumbling streets filled with people and work. A large empty plain with you as the only inhabitant, admiring nature, thinking about humanity's purpose, and reminiscing on simple moments you took for granted. Nothing can quite take us back to those times, but we get small glimpses of them from time to time. I really enjoy moments like these when I have them, it makes me feel isolated but connected with the world at the same time.
ОтветитьThese games where literal masterpieces
ОтветитьYou know how much I can get for this?!?🤣🤣
ОтветитьThere was just something DIFFERENT about ODST. I wish I could go back and play it again for the first time
ОтветитьLet's run some campaigns Spartans/ODST. Who's with me?!
ОтветитьRemember reach
Ответитьgreat
ОтветитьHappy 15th anniversary Halo 3:ODST!!!
ОтветитьHappy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.....
ОтветитьKenny G stalks the streets of New Mombasa
ОтветитьI listen to this everyday at work, can't thank you enough for this! Being at a desk all day sucks
ОтветитьI needed this in my life
ОтветитьGF: Babe stop! You're not a futuristic orbital drop detective trooper fighting aliens!
Me: Beat it toots. These streets is crawling with covies.
I believe that Halo ODST has the best soundtrack.
ОтветитьBello looking good Ma heart melt
ОтветитьThis was some of the most surprising music in the Halo series of games, and the very first time I sat down to play ODST, all those years ago, I felt filled by the soundtrack.
ОтветитьCovenant patrolling to kill anyone and you sit listening, not like there's anyone left...

ОтветитьNormally, I’d fall asleep. But the PTSD kicks in and I draw my M6C/SOCOM every time a phantom flies by.
ОтветитьI can still recollect a rich sunny afternoon, age 15, playing Halo: Reach at a youth group with friends. I wasn't crazy about Halo, but the majority of my friends loved the series. Reach was fresh, and it was brought it in for all of us so we could do 4 player Slayer. A small CRT and wired controllers required huddling up to the TV. We played until the sun dimmed, and those 3-4 hours spent just really resonate with me nowadays. I sucked at the game but I'd always laugh about it.
I got a major craving for Halo in college. 4 had recently come out so previous titles were cheap. After being a powerhouse as Chief, ODST just blew me away. Not only was the atmosphere perfect with the neon bog and melancholic jazz, but the vulnerability of the situation and characters worked so well. When I died after immediately running into Brutes for the time, I knew it was special.
My family. I am home.
