EcoFlow Glacier Portable Refrigerator Review (IT'S BADASS!)

The Ecoflow Glacier Electric Cooler is not your typical cooler. You can think of it like the Rolls-Royce of portable refrigeration.

Not only does the Glacier Cooler have a really nice dual-zone design, allowing you to store items that need to be frozen and items that just need to be chilled at the same time, but it also comes with a built-in ice maker that can make 18 ice cubes in as little as 12 minutes.

The cooler can be powered for up to 40 hours with its high-capacity lithium-ion battery (sold separately) that plugs right into the unit or can be charged using a regular wall outlet, a car charger, or solar panels.

Controlling the temperature is a breeze. The Ecoflow Glacier Cooler can maintain temperatures as low as -13°F (-25°C), ensuring your food stays fresh and your drinks icy cold.

The cooler is made with high-quality materials and, it is honestly, the nicest we’ve seen out of any cooler we’ve ever tested.

The unit comes standard without wheels or the telescoping handle, and I’m torn whether it is worth it to upgrade or not. The wheels are a bit bulky sticking out to the right-hand side of the unit, and the telescoping handle is probably the weakest point of the entire unit.

Still, the unit is already heavy at 59 lbs, and once you add food, ice, etc. it is not lightweight. When in doubt get the wheels. You can always easily remove them during transport.

The EcoFlow app is one of the best on the market and allows you to easily make temperature changes, turn the ice maker on/off, etc.

We found the cooler takes about 50 minutes to cool down to 38 degrees (refrigeration temp) and an additional 10 minutes to get down to freezing temps.

Holding 38 quarts in total, it can either fit 60 cans, or it can be split using the removable divider to get a 23 liter zone on the left, and a 15 liter zone on the right.

I’ve been using EcoFlow products for years, and they have honestly never let me down.
