Tazzi. There is a current recall from GM regarding the brake lamp issue. You can go directly to a Chevrolet dealer and request the recall to be completed. We've sold alot of these very familiar with this issue.

Ответитьthis is what I wanna get as a 1st car
ОтветитьI've had a silver-grey '06 G6 V6 (3.5L) for a little over a year now and it came with quite a few issues. Brakes wouldn't save your life if you had 100 feet to stop at 30mph, chrome rim covers (had rusty steel rims underneath) fell off and got lost somewhere while driving within month of purchase, previous owner installed LEDs under the seats, but hastily removed them just before selling and left wires tucked into the kick panel completely exposed, and the dealer lied and covered up that a semi obliterated the rear end of the G6, then claimed no major accidents. $4,500 and my dad still took it.
About 180 work hours later and I have LEDs, custom red painted letters on the tires, black steel rims with black 5 point red lined rim coverd red, single double pinstriping from from from to back across the sides, replaced factory speakers to something slightly better, fixed cigarette burns in back seats, and got a custom LED lined radio. Unfortunately, headlights suck and back bumper was backed into my dad when my dad decided to not use his rear view camera on his 2019 Silverado.. Bought four montha ago.
Overall a pretty good car and I can sell it now for more than I bought it.
Did you finally get rid of this shit box or what?
Ответитьnever get one trans sucks and always a problem with these cars better off getting a cobalt some of the motors are good on the pontiac but other than that ewwlol
ОтветитьGuy should read the owner's manual. The when the cruise control is on, there will be a light on the button, which clearly illuminates when he pressed the button. It lights on the dash when he is actually in motion and activates the cruise control. GM vehicles do not allow for cruise control under 24 MPH. My question is... after having having a Pre-Purchase inspection, why purchase a vehicle with these faults and complain about it? Surely he didn't perform a Pre-Purchase inspection after the purchase? I've heard of a few people trying to put the wagon before the horse, but I haven't met one of them.
ОтветитьDo you still have the car
ОтветитьI got an 06 Pontiac G6 GT from them and in the month that I had it it was in their shop over half of that time because the next morning after I bought it the carpet was wet and when I raised it there was over an inch of water under the carpet. I threw such a fit that they ended up taking the car back and letting me get a different vehicle. oh and before I even bought the car there was a shake when you would get on the interstate. And I asked the salesman if he would fix it after I purchased the car and was told no problem. Lo and behold once I tried to get it they tried everything they could to not fix it. Eventually it got fixed, but they took the car back anyway and said since they couldn't find my leak (which I found 3 myself) they were going to send it back to where they bought it. Ended up seeing it a couple weeks later literally half a mile from my house because they sold it to someone else
ОтветитьThat's crazy all that stuff happened to you man long time ago I see but it's funny you mention that what kind of recourse do I have if I purchased a vehicle from JD Byrider almost from day one that had light was not the electrical that goes to the headlight was rigged up when I turn on stuff on the radio lights in the dash gauges flash due to electrical problems what can I do to force them to give me another car
ОтветитьJD Byrider is a buy here pay here dealership. They go off your credit score for a down payment. You'll pay your down payment first before any money is put towards the actual car payment. I got a 07 Hyundai Sonata from them years ago. It had 80k on odometer and was priced roughly $13k. After I paid it off and I paid it off somewhat early when it was all said and done, it came out to be roughly $19k over a 4 year period. You need full coverage insurance and can't miss any payments. Otherwise, they will repo the car even for one missed payment or if you lose your insurance. They are strict on their policy. It was a good idea at the time, but it's a big financial burden. I paid $180ish a week/$360ish a month for a car that was roughly worth $5k at the time. My car had 170k on the odometer when I got rid of it. I can't complain as it helped me to and from work. They have a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty that doesn't last as long as the payment plan. So if you breakdown or have mechanical failures after that your SOL. It may seem like a good deal, but for what its worth I wouldn't recommend them unless you legitimately have no other options.
