So everyones drugged, melly is trying to help the girl and sees the other two as threats, Norton i guess wants the prize for himself, and orpheus is trying to help the girl too, but is tripping and sees melly and norton as threats as well. Melly got her shit rocked and nortons going after orpheus, he gets trapped (irl and mentally) and the drugs mixed with his broken personality had "awakened" his "nightmares" a part of him that's dark and he wants to forget and keep locked away, the is the "hunter" that chairs norton (in game) aka delivers norton one hell of a beatdown and (more than likely) kills(chairs) him...

I just can't accept this happened. I won't. I m playing with him from the first time he came out. And u can tell me idiot u can tell me silly, u can even tell me why would u care someone not exist, Norton is just character. No it wasn't like that for me. I m not trying to be dramatic or something but this is what I truly feel. I never played another character except him. From the first day I always said, yeah he made for me. And please let me be sorry about it. I can even cry. For to care something or someone, it doesn't have to be alive. It can even be a paper or a chair. And so I cared about him much, even if it's silly for most of u.

I still have a hard time believing Norton is dead because literally two things on his face that makes him stand out are gone (his burn scar and nose bridge piercing). Also they were all drugged before the game started so who knows if this part of Norton being “killed” by Orpheus is true or not.
