For people who have not read the books,this season may look okay,allthough a downgrade from the first.For people who have read the books,its abysmal .They seem to have decided to mix the books and the games into one to create a rather bland mixture.The second book has now been totally slaughtered to somehow make it more GOTy.
1)The entire relationship between the witchers at Kaer Morhen and Ciri is left underdeveloped.
2)Triss and Ciri's relationship is almost undeveloped.Ex-In the books,Triss scolds the Witchers for treating Ciri like the other mutated recruits(before the sacking) after seeing her in her sorry state.

Even scenes that would be used in flashbacks further on were not spared.

1)Ciri's training is condensed into some sort of training montage ,whereas in the books it is interspersed over many pages with Ciri trying to prove she is not a soft "Princess" to Eskel.
2)Ciri is exceptionally good for a non-mutated witcher-in-training,yet is hesitant in drawing her sword for lack of killkng intent.
3)Yennefer's instruction on magic is cut short from a logical one to weird hand waving.
4)Vesemir teaches and tests her on various monsters and how to kill them.
All in all,they seem to have decided to abruptly stop world building and just spin the story on their whims.
What I fail to understand is how do they end up making such a mess of a show which they nailed perfectly in the first season in almost all aspects (lore accuracy,acting,action scenes,etc.)
Also,they seem to have decided to abandon the underlying themes(Man's the worst monster of them all).

I had to come watch this after watching the ring of power's awful choreography.

First ep was op but they fucked up second ep
They killed our pal eskel
Don't you guys remember eskel against wild hunt general saving his goat and ciri go to save him on gate at kaer morhan

whoa....the scenes with Ciri is bad asz....also the graphics and fight scenes with the monsters are amped up for this season. A lot more magic used as well in the battles. The fire desert horse riders was BOMB!!! wow. The digital graphics teams did a great job this season.

Recently bought the game a couple weeks ago and finished the Netflix series…I can’t wait for season 3 and we need more humanoid like monsters to fight because that’s where the combat really shines

Then you make Lucifer your friend … by breeding him out that way and changing
Him to a pet that obeys through his mateing … to love the Humans as Lucifer loves God !!!!

If you can train a pet to love a human and obey ..
