Great video and probability a solution to my problem I have that maybe you can help with. I have a shed 600ft from my hoise that I want to get WiFi to monitor my solar. when I mount the 2nd unit to the shed will act as a WiFi extender or just a access point that I would have to add and another router or extender.
What frequency does it use 2ghz or 5ghz?

Loved your Video...I have gone through this setup many many times...reset to factory, etc and I can NEVER get the Wireless Mode Options??? It is driving me nuts.... Any thoughts? My is a simple one like your video Deck to Dock...but I can never get one side to Station??? Any help appreciated.

can i connect two routers or AP devices through the two ports in the bottom of the receiver antenna? if not, the second port (LAN2) what is it used for?

Can I connect the "home NanoBeam to an access point in the home rather than to the modem/router in the home? The access point is a TP-Link AC1200 (Archer C5) router which I have configured as an access point and which is connected to the modem/router via a powerline adapter.

Can I setup with 2 receiver? So I can sent to more than 1 location....

I'm trying to setup the NanoBeam AC Gen2. I have a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Cable modem router. When I plug the ethernet cable into the router to connect the NanoBeams to the network it freezes the router. I have connected them to an old Arris and it works fine. Any thoughts?

This was a great video and it made seting them up seamless. I had them configured and then got them setup in the field, and again they were working perfectly for 2 days about 100m aport with a great signal as reported by the app. I had to clean up my cabling in the field and had to unplug it for about 10 minutes, and now the satellite won't re-connect. How do I make the management radio come up to troubleshoot the satellite now that it is permanently installed nowhere near a wired connection? I unplugged it for about 10 minutes again, but didn't see the radio come up?

I have two locations more than 150degrees apart that I wish to bridge. I was thinking of the Omni antenna, but I would prefer not to broadcast in certain directions. Then I am thinking of two sets of these. How close could you mount two of them? Side by side.

Do they have to be connected to an internet source to set up?

Rick, You mention it replaces a long cable connection. I have a house too heavily enclosed by tall trees to mount a Starlink dish. I have a tractor shed where I can use the 100' Starlink disk cable to see a clear view of the sky. The distance between the shed and house is about 300' thru woods. It would be cleaner/nicer/faster (if I can set it up..) to use the bridge you describe ...but, is there signal loss compared to running Cat6? I am only ~100mi, as the crow flys, from the White House, but we have never had 'good anything'. Thanks for the posting. Jim

Would these work over a relatively short distance (about 150-200 feet) but mounted inside going through 2 windows? Rather install them inside for now since winter is here but will do outdoor installation if indoor installation would not work.

I have a problem with one I’m installing. I followed the steps as per the video except I’m using static IP’s. I only have the option to toggle between AP on/off and ptp on/off on the app so I made one the access point and ptp and the other ptp. But I can’t get them to connect, any help would be really appreciated

I am struggling big time with set up. For set up, do you just need the cat6 from the poe adapter to the Main PoE port on the NanoBeam? Or do I need a second cable hardwiring the NanoBeam into the current network I'm attempting to "beam"?

I tried to solve it by all means, but there was no use. I called the company. I didn't benefit from anything. I have updated the hardware. It was useless. I went back to the old versions. It was useless. I tried all the solutions I could think of, but there was no result.
Change the wires for new ones
Of course, I use Cat 6 ethernet cables
Without any benefit

Note that I entered many western forums with the same problem, and they did not get any satisfactory answer. Everyone says the wire isn't wired, and that's happened without any significant results.

So, i'm using these and not getting the speed I want. I realize first off that I have the 2 devices reversed, I have the home set as Station and the Garage set as AP. It's not that far, so perhaps that's why I'm getting less speed? And am I not supposed to enter the SSID as the same as my actual wireless network? I am also using 2 unifi ac lite APs. Should the "ssid" for the nanobeams be another network, are the nanobeams also used as APs? Might be too long to expect a reply but the video is helpful, thanks.

Would these work in a series? Like a to b then b to c. Needing to stretch it over a distance of 1000 feet but in a alter path for line of sight.

I use these to beam my home network down to the horse barn where I have a poe switch and camera system. For some reason if I power cycle the NVR, it never comes back online with the home network unless I also reboot the nanobeam. It's like the nanobeam is screwing with the IP for the NVR and I can't figure out how to fix it. It's all one network and there should not be any routing happening beyond the main router in the house. Any ideas? I have the house nanobeam set as AP PtP and the barn nanobeam set as station PtP.
