DiffUtil uses the Eugene W. Myers difference algorithm . This calculates the difference between both sets of elements.

In 1986, Eugene Myers published An O(ND) Difference Algorithm and Its Variations, which unified the problems of finding the longest common subsequence of two sequences (the LCS of "driftwood" and "artwork" is "two") and finding the shortest edit script for transforming one sequence into another. Myers showed that these problems were equivalent to finding the shortest path over an "edit graph."

His algorithm improved the popular diff utility, a data comparison tool that displays the smallest set of line-by-line deletions and insertions to transform one file into another.

I am facing an issue in the room database, whenever I select a row to update the data row then that data is not getting updated in that table,
Where I have already done "@Update(onConflict = OnConflictStrategy.REPLACE)" syntax in 'DAO' class still data is not updating. ,
Please help me in this, all the other functions are running properly like create, read, delete & delete all. ,

i want to ask a question ( if i want to update a specific position item content so would i update using diff utils ) because the list size and the ids are same but i want to update specific field from the data class) for example i have (name , address) and in the recyclerview i have already submitted 3 items with data (xyz , abc90) (abc , zcx89) , (bnm , jkl67). now i want to update 2 item zcx89 to some other address how would i will do that using diff utils class=???

2 things:-
1. Recyclerview ka animation user friendly nahi hai.

2. For example Radio button recyclerview me show kar rahe hai, list me var isSelected = false hai.

So, yaha radio button ke click pe baaki saare false and checked wala true ho jaana chahiye, to iss case me saare items change honge, jise ye thik se ui pe reflect nahi kar pata.
