When you first released this song it was stuck in my head for like 2 weeks. I love your lyrics, they resonate so deeply with me and I'm sure so many others. I really like your delivery in this one as well and how it switches vibes dramatically between verses and hook. I've been eagerly awaiting the release of the video ever since you announced it and I'm glad I did, the visuals certainly do the song justice. Wonderfully done as always Mitchel, thank you. :)

I'm not sure if this is the intended message, but breathing through that oxygen mask and your lungs not filling like they used to is a really great comparison to how the world around is so beautifull and we "choose" to breath in the oxygen mask air because it is all we know. I've been there, personally. Maybe im even still there not realizing, who knows. Anyway keep making music brother! It really resonates with me

I've had mental illness and gone to the hospital, but I've also gotten disturbing health issues that nobody should say. I used to get akathisia on and off. First it was so bleak, I couldn't hold still I couldn't feel peace. And I had to get walked down the street by my mom and dad in the middle of the night and I felt so much fear. I couldn't get any relief because I couldn't feel peace, I couldn't hold still, my feeling felt as cold as ice, my brain was basically a dissonance generator, my thoughts were spiraling to a sense of disaster to an extreme. I am a positive person. But in that moment I wasn't and I really needed so much assistance. This episode lasted for four or five days. I took Benadryl and held my breath to get some rest. Nobody else totally saw my pain, I was dissociating and suffocating my fear. But they helped me through it as well as they knew how. That was the beginning of 2019, and since then I've had it a few times but never at that level and not for some months now since it seemed we could tell the cause. I seem to have some kind of electrolyte problem. But in those five days or so I actually literally couldn't know hope. I couldn't feel it. I had to rely on my mind and just trust for strength. Which was about the scariest experience of my life. Because it was, everything else is not so hard.
