Question. What happens to all the young conch? Seems you find quite a few juveniles that are not alive.
ОтветитьYou are not alone with your love for the FL Fighting Conchs. I found one rolling in the surf in NC and almost lost my mind!! It's a bit worn, but I love it anyway.
ОтветитьI am so glad I found your videos, makes me feel like I’m there with you looking for shells. I love Marco Island and Sanibel Island. We stayed on Sanibel Island last Sept. and looked for shells. Loved it. Right now we dealing with winter here in Ohio.
Ответитьi like it when you greet the shells...
ОтветитьJust curious, what do you do with all the shells you find?
ОтветитьWe don't have any of this on the oregon coast. Found a few sanddollars. Never found anything like the stuff you have found. Awesome place
ОтветитьFantastic shelling day on the beach. Can’t wait to plan my annual Sanibel trip. I have such wonderful success all over Sanibel that I rarely go other places, but you are showing some great places to put on the list! Thanks for sharing your passion with us.
ОтветитьYAY! Alright. Let's go 😃
ОтветитьBeautiful "Sea Gems"! I never tire of your fun shelling adventures, and I've learned so much. Thank You ❤
ОтветитьJust awesome. 🙂
ОтветитьI love how you get excited !
ОтветитьI love the lettered olives. My favorite, I think. I love the smooth, shiny surface.
ОтветитьWOW-Love the fighting conks too :)
ОтветитьMy brother was down there last week looked for big shells on the beach didnt find any big shell were to you go for the big ones??
ОтветитьBut i did get some shells from down there
ОтветитьI love the Florida fighting conches too and I have learned a lot about shells from you!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this weeks. You found a lot of beautiful shells. Thank you for taking us along.
ОтветитьNo you’re not crazy. They are beautiful and all so different. What a great place to go shelling!
ОтветитьHow do you check the tide? Is it an app that you download?
ОтветитьYou are not alone!! I love every single shell u found! U are so blessed!! 👍🥰🙏🥳
ОтветитьI just love love love ❤️ your videos!!! Thank you so much for showing a map telling us where the. island is!🙌🏻🦋🙌🏻You are awesome!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this great shelling experience! ❤️🐚
ОтветитьThe fighting conch shell is beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI’m watching all these again as Hurricane Ian rips a pathway across the peninsula. Wishing you nothing but love and peace and safe travels returning home.🙏❣️After watching your love for all things Florida Fighting conch, I suggest a name change for your channel. How about SWFFC Beach Life?! Love you! 💕Love your channel! Prayers from Tennessee 🙏
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this wonderful spot. I've been to Marco Island only once, and absolutely feel in love with it. Shelling is so relaxing and rewarding to me. I can't wait to take my grandchildren there and will definitely try to gain access to this spot ... with total respect for those who own the beachfront property. Maybe I can rent a home there for a week to make it easier! 🙂
ОтветитьSadly, in the state of Maine landowners own to the low tide mark. There are exceptions to crossing along beaches, like for clamming. So strange to hear of your travels. I like it !!!! It should be like that nationally… where land owners only own to the high tide mark.
ОтветитьThank you for your videos. I love the beach and don’t get to go very often. So I live vicariously through you 😂
ОтветитьI like your videos to watch and I am so excited to see more videos sisters I am big fan of you and fan of 🐚 shells
ОтветитьAll the best for your videos to more
ОтветитьStay safe and tane care of your health
ОтветитьI don't think I told you this before, sorry if I did. When we were moving out of FL my husband made me take 3 plastic bags full of FL fighting conch back to the beach, he said you have way too many give some to others. Then I had to take 6 big shopping bags full of books to the Library to "share" those also, my two favorite things shelling and reading, so sad. He said we are not getting any younger and we have to start downsizing.
ОтветитьOh this brings back memories of 50 years ago on Sanibel! Just fantastic shelling! No you are not crazy for picking up all the Florida Fighting Conchs- I used to have a dining room table full of them! Wonderful! please keep doing this for those of us who can't anymore. 😞
ОтветитьYour not crazy! 😊there all so beautiful ! Love all those pretty treasures.. thanks for sharing❤
ОтветитьNo. Its not just you! Those Florida Fighting Conchs are beautiful. There are so many color variations!!
ОтветитьSo love the Fighting conch shells!!! You are not alone! I have lots of them!
ОтветитьSitting here in dreary Missouri and enjoying the vicarious experience of beach time and happy excitement of cool finds!
ОтветитьI loved this! I feel like I learned a lot too. I've never had any idea what the shells are called. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьDon't ever apologize for doing the right thing by the critters. And I like how you call them "friends."
ОтветитьI am excited that our family is going to Marco Island this Thanksgiving for the first time (we used to go to Sanibel so we figured this was the next best thing!) I want to shell your secret spot but I was wondering does it have to be “negative” low tide in order to go? The lowest the tide is going to be while we are there is .51 feet. Will that work or not? How long can you stay there before you have to get back? I love your videos! We also want to shell Keewaydin and Kice but can’t afford a shell tour at $125.00 each (for 6 of us) and not sure two grandmas can kayak. Wish Florida Adventures still had the shuttle. How long does it take to kayak? Keep making your fantastic videos ❤️🥰❤️
ОтветитьI've been watching on and off for about a month. The shells don't change. Glad you enjoy iy. I like it once in awhile.
ОтветитьI think shark eyes are ugly, and scallops are colorful and beautiful. Add some color to all your brown.
ОтветитьMy favorite spot too. Have a j from there
ОтветитьLove dickmans and kice too. From ga though, only get to come to work.
ОтветитьNo you are not insane
ОтветитьAre you from Maryland?
ОтветитьAlso I love your videos and so jealous of the finds 😂❤
ОтветитьI’m sure those private residences wouldn’t mind you running through their yards! Lmao! Or just wear all black, hoodie pulled up lol! I can see it now. “Sorry, lost track of time and now I’m stuck…” 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat time of day do you go for negative lowtide?
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between lettered olive and regular olive shell?
Ответить
