Excellent video. The fact that you did it on the floor is incredible. Had to replace my clutch but ended up piercing the exhaust system harness against the bell housing causing the oxygen sensor fuses to blow and cause a check engine light. Going to do it on the floor since I no longer have access to a lift

ОтветитьSo, I got this exact transmission installed on my 2018 Mustang EcoBoost. Completely custom job since it "Isn't compatible with the 2.3L" as many told me. It works flawlessly paired with a Mantic Clutch and a one-piece driveshaft. I ended up going with the 2.97 1st gear (wide ratio) but with the .80 5th and .63 6th gears.
All in all, pretty painless install once all the kinks were worked out. Every shift is godlike compared to the MT-82

I have so bad vibrations under the car above 110mph and beyond
I installed the FDSH9-A-MAG2 driveshaft as you did
Do you have the same issues?
The vibration gets worse above 110 ... its undriveble at this "speeds"
The stick is rattleing like hell there
Everything under 110 is fine with no vibration at any rpm or gear
Man it would break my heart if its the tranny
I sticked with rp synchromax to reduce the trannynoises.
13k for everything....
And it does this :(

Ответить👇 I bought the full Magnum XL kit for my 2011 Mustang GT twin turbo, everything I needed, $4500 ... This is a great video but $6,500 is too much= people if you shop around, especially at certain times of the year, you can find these kits with all the accoutrements for $1500+ LESS

ОтветитьI followed your advice on my 2017 Mustang GT and got a stock OEM throwout bearing, it’s causing issues since the beginning and now I have to pull trans back out. The stock throwout doesn’t work for s550 atleast.

ОтветитьI have the same Mustang as you from the same year but with an Automatic transmission, it’s got higher miles but no where near the end, I plan to basically use it until either the transmission or engine die or just become not worth fixing and swap this transmission and a Coyote engine into any any other mods I see fit, preferably keeping it NA, I love how the car looks, it’s red with the stock silver rims, and it’s my first car so yeah, I plan to have it for a while
