I used to work in the seat of county government offices. Huge dispersal of city, county and federal buildings. The city's police department had a huge parking structure that was across the street from the one side street you could take to bypass all the traffic trying to escape from jury duty and other government workers leaving the area. There were two lanes going each way, one of which was used to make a left hand turn onto this little side street across a broken yellow line. In order to make this left hand turn I had to wait for oncoming traffic and traffic light to change to safely make the turn. This super long, and I mean huge, Mercedes sedan was pulled up behind me and starts honking, honking, honking. I worked were the DA, Sheriff, Federal Courts, and County Court house were located. This person was obviously some sort of legal shirt or person of "rank" (the job title not the type with ordor) . Did I mention that the parking structure was in front of the city police department, behind which the police units would exit and enter? Well low and behold a unit pulled up, waiting for traffic light to and somehow magically the person in the Mercedes stopped honking. Made my left turn safely while laughing my head off.

I can be really nice and then bitchy, then finally I become a petty bitch.

I would totally do this to someone who messed with my husband.

I have had my fair share of tailgaters while I was going 10-15 over the speed limit. I always the greatest desire to just absolutely slam on the breaks. But I don't want to total my car.

The daughter was unhappy that she had to act like a decent human being? I feel sorry for that kind mother.

Dashcams are magic. Dashcams set to upload to the cloud are godlike.

First story: I’d have hit the breaks and let the bmw hit me. 10 yro old truck doesn’t own me anything. Most roads have a warning that a speed bump is coming, so you’d have definitive proof that bmw was not paying attention.

Third story: I’d have just closed the window. This PR was just dumb.

My favorite things to do to tailgaters is 1) swerve in my lane like crazy just keep going back and forth. 2) slow down to a safe following distance, I have come to a complete stop because of how close they are, cops took my side.

RE: the bowl of spaghetti. Bravo! for a free and effective method. If I had that problem I might have had a dumpster delivered late Friday or early Saturday, come in Saturday morning and dump absolutely everything in it, then call to have it picked up. On Monday I would be prepared to say, quite innocently, that I had to come in to work Saturday and had to clear a path to get to my office. So you had to come in to throw out the trash. Just don’t admit throwing out the trash was the only reason you had to come in!

To tell you the truth some petty revenge is needed sometimes.

To address the last story regarding the builders, the building management should have visited the site after the first complaint and addressed them directly as most contracts for contractors have a clause that requires to keep the area a safe workplace especially if there are personnel who are working in the area of construction. As an engineering manager of a large pharmaceutical company, I have actually kicked construction workers off site via company security for practicing unsafe behavior and banned them from returning. This is in every contract and they are also required to take our company's safety training which covers our requirements. The construction company is still held to the agreed upon completion date too or we hold them in breach of contract. It usually takes only 1 time of this happening before the construction company takes us very seriously in regards to the requirements.

The spaghetti was clearly a "booby trap" and OP was lucky to pull off the "trip" without getting hurt. But it's certainly what I would have done. I might even have fallen and "hurt my arm really badly", and had to "go to the hospital". Next day, having faked up a cast around my wrist (plaster cloth - handy stuff) and with my arm in a sling, I would have returned, without comment. I would bet that those a-holes would be so scared of a lawsuit that the pasta would have been cleaned up and a nice corridor opened for my convenience.

I typically drive between the speed limit or five over (yes, apparently I’m secretly a grandma). Where I live, there are a bunch of speed traps, but they rotate randomly as to which ones they’ll be waiting in, so I figure it’s just not worth the hassle.

But apparently going 5 over is too slow for some people. I also make sure to give lots of space if the driver in front of me seems not to be paying attention; why would I want to end up being part of their accident? Apparently this really, really angers people.

If they’re being aggressive, I will quickly drop down to the speed limit just to annoy them. If they’re still being aggressive, I’ll drop to a few below the speed limit, turn very slowly, take a few extra seconds at stop signs, etc. It’s petty, but it’s very satisfying.

I remember this one particular time when a douchmoblie was tailgating through several turns, apparently going to the other side of town as I was. I remember when they finally turned off in another direction, the passenger was leaning out the window yelling/cursing/flipping me off. I rolled down my window (we were at a stop light) and blew them a kiss. The look on his face was priceless and makes me smile to this day.

Oh thoes dear contractors, I would have fallen, called 911, made an emergency call to OSHA. The building management, my employer and the contractors could all potentially faced lawsuits. There would have been a massive cleanup. In the end I would have only sued the contractors and asked my company to go after them for the workers comp claim.

I had a friend that refused to let people merge into the offline... been in 3 accidents with him cause of this all "their fault" technically for not getting in the lane earlier...I'm talking like during traffic and the off lane of the highway basically has a lineup, and the dicks who don't get in it and think to jump in near the front...I get my friends point of not letting them in but he would get all aggressive about it. I dunno how to explain but like, if they even slightly came into the lane he'd veer right to the edge where they were and sometimes hit them, then sue and win basically. He had ongoing surgeries, still does for a condition probably rest of life...but uses that in court and wins these cases for thousands..ruining peoples lives. Awesome friendly guy, give you shirt off his back, but when it comes to his road rage...yikes. a Karen and a Daren makes a craren. A cringey karen.

Tailgater; 1st never do a Brake check{No Such thing and Illegal}, what I like to do is keep slowing down, while in traffic, and then speed back up to the Limit{Max 5mph Over}, when traffic speeds up!

Last story is hardly even revenge as the idiots basically self-snitched when reporting OPs behaviour, leading to the management people discovering all the crap still being everywhere
