I liked Dragon Soul. It was my all time height of raiding. And I'm not talking about LFR raiding. I had 3 toons progressed to 6/8 Heroic with 3 different groups before the pre-patch.
ОтветитьI loved it. The atmosphere, the music, the zones even.. may unpopular but.. the 🐼
ОтветитьDo a burning crusade!
Ответитьplp didnt like the story or pandas BUT WAS THE BEST PVP EXPANSION EVER DONT @ IDC
Ответить5.4 was the last playable patch for wow. also the last patch I actually enjoyed my class. everything afterwards is total dog shit.
Ответитьwho else skipped pandaland completely... bc boycott pandas... obviously lol. I remember thousands on the forums did as well.
(ps: i do like monks, and even pandas, just not fat kung fu pandas. Fun fact the original concept art of wc3 pandas were not kung fu pandas but were actually samurai. But ofc real life politics w/ china and japan ruined that, somehow fat kung fu pandas were less offensive)
I do admit going back I do like pandaland though. The mists and sha are pretty cool. The art style is striking. And with the night borne allied race I finally have a pretty cool looking monk to play it with.
ОтветитьThe daily quest burnout was real for me. I had (have?), 4 level 90 toons.....and trying to keep them active was hellish. To the point where I just stopped trying and went down to 1 active 90 and even that had me in daily grind burnout mode. So I rolled some alts just to have something to do besides. .
By the time I had 3 new alts in the 50-69 range, I realized all that awaited me was more mind numbing dailies so i quit. Took a break. I logged in when the next patched dropped, my main toon at his farm, anf i just whimpered at the sight of all those blue exclamation points...I went to org to escaoe them, tooled around a bit....logged out and never logged back in.
Now, only now mind you am trying wow again. I skipped WoD, the cinematic looked like a retcon hellscape, skipped legion because the trailer looked like a retcon hellscape, anfd the BFA trailer piqued my interest. ..
And now I've renewed my sub. I still haven't bought bfa. I'm leveling my old 90s to 110, leveling some alts, trying to see if I really want to come back or if I just having nostalgia pangs.
Also, i need an active sub to play classic.
mop had the best class structure and setting before the pre legion class nerfs and pruning.
ОтветитьWatching these 3 parts make me want to replay MoP. I really hope when when blizz do classic, they release all the other expansions so you progress through them. Then I would be able to replay MoP again
ОтветитьI'm really regret that i miss Pandaria. I left WoW from last Cataclysm patches Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub was last drop for me, and Pandaria looks strange, "not my WoW!". And when i came back to Warlords on "We will see old Draenor" hype, i leveled trough Pandaria and was amazed with quality and beauty. What an irony for me for what WoD is was.
ОтветитьI honestly loved MOP especially the lore
ОтветитьI only ever played wow for a year in mop so much nostalgia i remember getting to like level 20 then getting bored with my class and race and start again.
ОтветитьTo sum it up? MoP SUCKED and ruined the game
ОтветитьMOP had some of the best gameplay class- and rotationwise. take a look at warlocks as an example, oh and mages too, hunters aswell, oh and dont forget warriors
ОтветитьI love my pandas. nods
ОтветитьMists sucked, i quit for 5 years because of it.
ОтветитьI thought it was pretty shit.
Zones looked better than ever and the lore was okay but since this expac I just started to feel like nothing I'm doing is rewarding in any way
people bitch so much about ever xpac every patch every update but yet still pay 15 a month to play lol xD
ОтветитьI never got the hate for MoP it had great content, gameplay and class design. The only complaint I ever hear is "Oh Pandarian are dumb because they just too cartoonish." As opposed to what ? The completely serious nature of Goblins,Gnomes,Most of Un'goro craters quests, and the guy dressed in a Murloc suit who becomes their king? Wow has always been dumb fun. Honestly I blame the people that complained about Pandarins for BFAs overly serious edgy melodrama and every cringe moment Illidan had in Legion.
ОтветитьAs a fan who loved pandas since warcraft, it felt amazing to come back to wow after all these years and play one. Wish he was horde though. Regardless, playing a panda made you feel like you were apart of the lore. It was a joy to complete a set for transmog and really get an idea of what a panda would look like in the wow world. That luster fell in the next expansion when they made it class specific instead of race. I played warlords of draenor as an orc and it just didn't feel right. What should felt like a homecoming felt like a grind. Today it feels like that in BFA.
ОтветитьI love MoP! I left a character there on purpose just to keep farming n getting rep n mounts.
ОтветитьThe most underrated expansion.
Ответитьwait so you mean the blizzard community were divided and angry a long time before everyone had phones?
ОтветитьI regret quitting after cata... Went back to pandaria after legion came out just to lvl my character and wow...it felt like an adventure!
ОтветитьDecent PvE, best PvP the game has ever seen, best class design and gameplay out of all the expansions, would give anything for the class design of MoP to come back. Having actual fucking options of gameplay would revitalise this brainless game where u can play DH and press 3 buttons and do top dps, so fucking retarded lmao.
Ответитьyou confuse the disconnect of marketing and capitalist nazis
ОтветитьMe who joined in BFA and listens to what people say about the expansions and pretends i know what it was like to be there: yeah WoD sucks man MoP is superior
ОтветитьMoP best expansion besides WOTLK
Prove me wrong
Mop proved to me that people suck. It was fantastic. One of my favourites.
ОтветитьReal Talk: Mists was my second-favorite expansion after Wrath. It got a lot of shit, but did so much new, interesting stuff, and managed to introduce brand new things, and then tie them back to the broader lore of Azeroth with the Y'Shaarj reveal (or even before; anyone who ran Ulduar back in the day saw it coming as soon as they got to Elegon).
Every raid in Mists had interesting, new, fun elements to it that made all of them unique in their own ways. Name a raid boss as kill as Will of the Emperor or Garalon or Spoils of Pandaria. Absolutely amazing stuff.
The setting was gorgeous, fresh, and well-realized (except the Townlong Steppe; that place can burn). Scenarios were a cool new feature that's been expanded on greatly. People gave the farm shit, but it's nice to have access to some materials without having to go out and "farm" them in the real world, especially if you have a job. The talent change made the system streamlined to the point where we can pop in and out of situational choices now which has altered the way character builds and encounter design has shifted.
Mists really did some amazing stuff to the game and it's a shame the start was so rocky, because it's one of the most consistently good expansions.
why are corporate stooges so cringeworthy? Chris Metzen is not alone in that
ОтветитьMissing Metamorphosis for Warlocks ;)
ОтветитьI didnt really like MoP back then.
But looking back i have to say that im a bit sad that i missed most of MoPs Content.
I really love the Zones and in Legion i fell in love with the Monk Class. And i wouldve never thought that i want to play a Panda back then.
But playing a Brewmaster Monk as Pandaren just fits.
As a kid, this was my favourite expansion, I still don't really understand why it got hate but being a kid meant everything is great so I don't have much to say tbh
ОтветитьNinie years ago now! Still one of the best looking expansions
ОтветитьMe, nostalgic for a server with a thriving community and in-depth experienced devs 'types on keyboard' "LotusWoW"
ОтветитьGod, how I miss MOP
World bosses, farmable mounts, the story, reputations, old raids were still doable with multiple people and wow wasnt a dead game....
Mists of Pandaria was my favorite expansion. I thought all the zones were beautiful.
ОтветитьI always liked MoP as an expansion. Really thinking on it wow expansions didn't start to get bad until legion. Sure the ever increasing simplicity of mechanics, gearing the game to larger less hard-core audience, got worse with every expansion. But content wise cata, MoP, and WoD were all really solid expansions.
Ответитьpandaria wasnt that bad at all it was just not ok for dem racists but at least we got legion i guess well i mean after wod but still legion was a good ending well sort of thanks bfa and shadowlands for you sucked and should not be canon
ОтветитьI just didn’t like the pandas themselves. Seemed too much like kung fu pandas.
ОтветитьMistblade for life!! Maverick guild!!
ОтветитьAs another person who hated the obese male pandaren model, this expansion ended up being my favorite. I never thought I'd say this after experiencing Wrath and Cata... But here we are.
ОтветитьIn retrospect, this was the last truly creative expansion
ОтветитьA decade already gone... Almost in the blink of an eye....
This ex-pac will always remain the absolute pinnacle of WoW (being completely objective), both in terms of raid encounters and classes.
Do mists 10 years later!
ОтветитьMoP was the peak of Holy Priest with the Chakras. Cannot wait to play it again
I could queue up as healer and regularly match the DPS of the tank
ppl who complained about the pandarens probably never heard about Chen Stormstout back in Warcraft...
Ответить
