Driver's don't use blinkers AT ALL.
ОтветитьHow about pompano beach? Thoughts on that city?
ОтветитьYou got it right. The wages there just like Miami are totally disconnected from the cost of living. Probably the biggest reason many of those companies are moving there is to prey of the labor force.
ОтветитьHi from Wilton Manors 🌴🔅
ОтветитьDogs technically aren’t allowed in all places. But most people who take them everywhere claim to have emotional support dogs, which can’t lawfully be denied entry to most places.
ОтветитьNothing beats the no state income tax! I live in NYC and you basically lose 10% of your income living in NYC
ОтветитьSalaries have increased here dramatically. Average income of people living downtown is $146,600 (up 20% from a year ago). I’m sure it depends on different fields…
ОтветитьBroward County is the Portland of Florida, meaning the worst.
ОтветитьRetired LA driver here. No joke on the driving. I don't ever take 95 to get around. I used to ride a motorcycle in CA - you couldn't pay me to ride a bike here. I've been here 2 1/2 years now and all in all it's been a good move. I'm surprised by the amount of crime here though. There is a LOT of neighborhood crime.
ОтветитьYep, welcome to my world living in Las Vegas..been here 12 years too long..but heck I’ll be here until my next game plan❤️happy new year’
ОтветитьIt took me four hours to get from Fort Lauderdale to Key West? That 35 mph speed limit irked me. Lol! I want to move to Fort Lauderdale so bad. I tried a few years ago, but I didn’t have the hussle in me. I really want to try again.
ОтветитьIm out of state been looking online at properties in Lauderdale Lakes, FL, looks nice is it a safe area?
ОтветитьGreat video. I appreciate that you didn't sugar coat the realities of living in Florida. Your observation of aggressive drivers in South Florida is right on the money! I grew up in Florida and I live in Los Angeles and surprisingly there are a lot less aggressive drivers in LA. 😃🌴😃
ОтветитьI want to move there
ОтветитьThanks for the video 🙏 you can’t have it all
ОтветитьSo I have a master's in IT management is the job market good there for IT also is 100K a good base line to live in fort lauterdale ?
ОтветитьTo move Charleston or Fort Lauderdale
ОтветитьBeen looking to move from Cleveland Ohio and my biggest problem is finding the work. I make over 100k here as a crane operator and it's a good living, but the I'm always getting sick because of the swing weather. I can't stand the cold rain and cloudy days anymore.
ОтветитьHi sir I hope you read this, I’m planning to go there for a training at bluewater crew Training but problem is I don’t have a car, is the transportation there good or maybe I can use like bicycle?
ОтветитьGreat stuff. I've was in Tampa last Summer and it was tough at times with the heat/humidity...but is it really any worse than a 95 degree day with 100% humidity in NY/NJ? Man, I worked in Manhattan for years and was dripping wet before 9am in my office. Lol. As for driving, the NYC area (mostly the boroughs and Long Island) has never seen so many car wrecks than in the last 2 years since weed become legal. Everyday cars flipping over. Never had that before. Also up here every street just about has a speed camera, even in quiet side streets. If you hit 35mph it's a 50$ ticket. Also car ins. up here has to be much higher I would imagine vs. FL.
ОтветитьThanks man, I'm Really appreciate your explanation about the city, God Bless You.
ОтветитьEvery single relatable source like yours says that traffic and drivers are horrible. Well, everything has its price it seems.
But thank you for the video - you have a pleasant personality and explained a lot of things deeply.
Question: I want to move from NY in May this year - how hard it usually is and how long it gets to get approved with the lease and such? Thank you!
Love the pet friendly atmosphere. 😀 Right on.
ОтветитьI can already see an entire season or 3 of American Greed solely in florida.
Ответить😂 the parking
ОтветитьFinding and paying high premiums for home insurance is definitely a negative.
ОтветитьThe crime here is insane.
ОтветитьI lived in Fort Lauderdale Florida from 1959 to 2004. Unlike today it was Paradise.... All during the sixties and seventies you could not find a better place to grow up. Today im 100 miles north, in a place that reminds me of Fort Lauderdale in the 70's.
ОтветитьNORTHERNERS come down here and throw their trash out the window. They act like they have no home training. They behave like trash on the roadways, so make sure you get a dash cam. If you don't like spanish people, stay away from FL. We're not going anywhere because of your unseasoned tolerance to different languages. Lower COL compared to NYC. But Florida isn't NYC.🤣😂💀 Those numbers are wack. The COL coming from me (an actual Floridian) is outta hand like when you drop somethin'. All these people coming to our state and ruining it. They mostly come from NY, NJ, Boston, and that region in general. Look at their states it's no wonder why they run away from it. They ruined their home. Now, they come down here with a lack of respect for most things. If you're moving to FL, please know this FL heat is not for play. I think that's why floridians will step out their car and square up with you. Also (LADIES) PLEASE BE SITUATIONALLY AWARE!!! Especially during holidays and shopping, make sure you have mace and park in a well lit area if possible. I've personally had a handful of people from all different walks get attacked in walmart parking lots, robbed, and whatnot. Be safe.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI would say this video is very accurate. I have lived here my whole life (53yrs) in Broward County. South Florida... to me if you like boating, fishing, eating, dining, shopping and have money... then you'll do fine. If you like peace and quiet or nature (woods) or want seasons.. then forget it. South Florida is sunny, extremely extremely hot and humid most of the year and we have no seasons at all. The heat and humidity can easily last until after Halloween. (yes we have beautiful weather Jan-April) We do worry about hurricanes mainly from August through October (with September being the worst).
ОтветитьThanks for watching. What else would you add to the list?
