My heart fills with love when I see the fuzzy little heads of the newly hatched babes. I pray for them every day and look forward to watching them grow.

Watching this drama-comedy will never, ever get old for me. Nature's superstars.

I guess this area is a military fly zone. I wish they could practice in another area until these eaglets are grown.

That was quite an episode for Jackie. She's always determined to stay the night. First time she's left Shadow to keep the chicks warm. Something must have spooked her and she had to investigate. I remember that one episode where Fiona hopped on her while she was asleep and woke her.

It seems like having that extra egg in the nest might retain heat from J&S and act as a "hot rock" to help keep the chicks extra warm and cozy. 💗🐣🐣 💗

How long have Shadow and Jackie been together?

How many seasons of eggs have they gone through together? I found them last year when we were all praying her egg would hatch. (I remember just one egg). It never did and a Raven finally got to it.

They truly care about each other. What a great example these eagles are setting for we humans.

I'm not at all familiar with the area around the nest tree, but I'm just curious if the immediate area close to it is blocked off so humans can't try to approach and disturb them during nesting season?

I may be a bit dramatic, but the city of Big Bear should shut down the roads around the nest so J&S don’t have to be disturbed. Every car I hear is a disappointment to nature. (Residents of BBV might not agree)

Hello Everyone... I only just discovered this channel about a week ago. I saw the birth of the two eaglets and I'm now obsessed. I just came off the FOBBV live cam after watching Jackie nestled down and sleeping... my question is... Where does Shadow spend the night? I've rarely seen him during the late evening, early morning views. Does anyone know? Thank you in advance for helping me learn more.

Hello from Michigan!! This is such a wonderful experience! My 11 and 8 year old Grandsons have been watched and waiting for and they have been so excited to watch these wonderful eagles take care of their eggs and now their offspring. Thank you for allowing us to watch the amazing birds 🥰💝
