Hehe, watching the petrol getting filled thinking it'll become a 2 stroke.
I've been riding motorcycles since 2015 and both of my bikes don't have fuel gauges on either Suzuki GSF600's. Most of the time I wait for it to run out and then have to swap to the reserve fuel apart from once I forgot to move it back from reserve after filling up :P
My indicators dont work either haha but it's very easy to replace the clocks with a nice digital unit :)

No crash helmet so it not compulsory then me last bike which I bought brand new after passing my bike test a trading in my 250 rd Yamaha was a 1976 750 bonneville with turned at the be unreliable I sold it when I got married to put towards the deposit on my new house with I still live in to day the last time I rowed on two wheels is when I hired a moped on holiday in Cuba with was great in the hot weather I at renew my driving licence in March my 70th birthday it was quite easy thay take your photo from your passport record but you have to give up driving a minibus and a large truck but my full bike licence was on the new on I think that you are going to go down hill when you reach 70 because you have to renew every 3 then

Mate, My brother in law, in the Philippines did not wear the helmet just the once in years, slowly pulled out of a drive way, got knocked off by a cyclist and unfortunately passed away from a head injury. Be careful fella !!!!

I would have taken the wheel off my motorcycle to change the inner tube, although it is a 500 so the wheel is bigger and tyre to get off. I worry about the lack of protective clothing you all seem to be in summer clothes . Scares me somewhat. Enjoy yourself but be safe.

Have to say Alan, I agree with @phiipbunker146 on this. You DO need safety clothing and most importantly, a good helmet. Need to keep yer noggin safe but gravel rash is no good to anyone mate. Stay safe, all of you, cheers.
