A song about this divorce and the events and processes which led to it -
The first lines recount his regret at leaving Sara to go home on her own - He laments -
'Remember what might have been
Had I walked you home and said, "I'll see you later"'
He goes on to say what happened as a consequence-
'But when the morning comes, you'd gone to meet your maker.' Maker is a metaphor for mother. Upset by his dismissive behaviour, she went to her parents, it was the beginning of the end of the reationship, and he was finding it hard to come to terms with.
"Stood on top of the world
And when the cold wind blows, you say the chill don't matter.' A reference to Sara completing the three peaks (Scottish Mountains) walking challenge for charity.

A reference to Antidepressants or something of more of a recreational nature?

If you look at the woman's image in the video and compare it with the picture of Sara on the cover of the Album, "Who Built the Moon",- they look remarkably similar.
