Who cares about duel links seriously lol
ОтветитьWitchcrafter was good in Master Duel, especially during events where it was usually at full power since it didn't rely much on the extra deck, even more so when grass was still at 3 and you could play a 60 version easily. The kind of advantage you could gain off a single grass was ridiculous.
But even without grass and with its new fusion it has been powercrept hard.
The Redeyes slander ✨️
ОтветитьDuellogs try not to misunderstand and spread misinformation about red-eyes challenge impossible. I really dont get the hate you have for the deck. It's not the most meta thing but its cards have tops more consistently than something like blue-eyes.
Plus you also always point out its design being split but you never do that for blue-eyes or dark magician. "Its split between so many different ideas" and those ideas are actually just burn, equip, xyz, fusion, normal, and revival. Most red-eyes cards in design or effect have 2 or more of those in mind. Instead you guys split things like gemini from normal which we only got shafted in because red-eyes gets designs too early. We got our fusion too early, we got our normal retrains too early, we even got a circular before circular.
It's been a long time since I played Duel Links, but if I remember correctly, Googly-Eyes Drum Dragon is actually usable in Duel Links. It was my favorite deck when I used to play all the time. It's honestly making me think of returning to try it out.
Ответитьfortune ladies and witchcrafter were two of the most annoying decks to play against, along with maybe weather painter, that one was also pretty bad to go against, all super troll
ОтветитьHonestly, playing DuelLinks primary for Rush
ОтветитьThis is a matter of perspective, but I think what Kazuki Takahashi meant is that Yugi and Kaiba are not as strongly written and developed as Joey, this is common with shounen mangaka that they don't favor their main characters because they're only created to fit certain standards set by the publishers, while secondary characters are where they put their real thoughts into.
ОтветитьHope you do a list of worst lock out like attribute or types I’m still on copeium I can bulid a good infernoble deck but that warrior lock just get me
ОтветитьWinged Dragon Of Ra was meta in Master Duel for a while and is still a good rogue strategy.
ОтветитьOkay, I have to actually disagree with the stance that Red-Eyes is number 1, simply for the fact that both the Primite cards and new Metalmorph cards greatly increase the power of the deck. Seriously, Red-Eyes is actually in a state where it's not only playable, but extremely fun to play as well. And honestly, it kind of feels like people are sleeping on it because "oh, we can't make a 100% Red-Eyes pure deck with these cards. They should have gotten something like Blue-Eyes got!" And I feel like people just miss the point of Red-Eyes at that point, because it's whole design philosophy is that it works best with other cards, not purely by itself.
ОтветитьIt's a shame how red eyes have so many cards, but most of them are useless or full of restrictions. 😅
Konami fixed blue eyes, and now it's time to fix the more classical archetypes. Dark magician needs some suport as well.
Damn brings back memories, i used to play Shadow Game burn with Lava Golem lol, toxic as hell
ОтветитьThat description might need a quick update now that Cocytus is not just unbanned, but by March he'll be unlimited with Mechaba so that you can run Meltdown + Terraforming for a 7/2x chance to start with Aleister in dedicated Invoked.
Granted, the only good Water target to run it against is Liquid Soldier (yes Heros +ArmDra are tier 1 in Feb 2025) and he'll already banish himself before you can get him. At least Mechaba + Cocyctus can potentially block a Rainbow Neos summon to prevent otk via Coc-block and give you a turn 3.
Don't forget his ritual monster, Red-Eyes Magician. And his Link monster.
ОтветитьHow about top 10 decks good in Duel Links and the Tcg next?
ОтветитьBring back OG marik burn lol
ОтветитьWitchcrafters in duel links also had the added benefit of being really diverse in their playstyle, you cuould run them at 30 cards with lightsworn to mill their spells like crazy and allow better endboard via synchro summoning.
ОтветитьPart 2
ОтветитьReal hoping Konami finally gives Red-eyes support that makes it a cohesively playable deck.
ОтветитьKonami should errata or retrain Red-Eyes Fusion, this spell so good but so bad in one card
ОтветитьI have ptsd from F Ladies...
ОтветитьI'd still like to see top 10 worst archetype specific Spell ROTAs
ОтветитьJoey being stronger than both the Pharaoh and Seto is canon given the fact that he got his Red-Eyes Back from the Pharaoh after Duel City. Remember, Joey told Yugi/Pharaoh to keep the Red-Eyes till he takes it back by proving he is a real duelist...which means BEATING them... Him having gotten his Red-Eyes back actually straight up means he BEAT the Pharaoh. Something Seto could not do without threatening to commit suicide...but, even Seto realized that, hence why he has a fixation on beating the Pharaoh to the point of somehow making a machine that allowed Seto to meet up with the Pharaoh at the end of the movie The Dark Side of Dimensions.
At least, I do not remember any duel where Seto actually beat the Pharoah beyond the time he threatened to commit suicide...
You can also tell Joey is strong given his overall performance is great, despite having a more or less lackluster luck based deck.
Oh, Vampires were another archetype that was fairly strong for a short while in Duel Links.
ОтветитьWitchcrafters is a good example of how Konami not only was clearly making underpowered cards in TCG specifically to put them in Duel Links, but also how they had to amp up power creep in the hand trap wars. Because Witchcrafter had to normal summon one of the girls and tribute themselves and discard a spell FOR COST. So if the opponent chained Ash Blossom in response you literally lost the entire game right there and had to pass turn. They made this whole archtype work like this despite knowing everyone is running 3 Ash Blossom from now until the heat death of the universe. But in Duel Links Ash doesn’t exist so that effect is actually much better. But this definitely led to Konami start to design archtypes not to pass to one commonly played handtrap because why would anyone play Witchcrafter when Ash exists and to me that’s proof Konami designed it only for Duel Links because it’s cost was balanced for that format.
Ответитьhonest to god amazing how much this man uploads
ОтветитьISTG, the way Duel Logs says "Madame Verre" is either incredibly cringe or incredibly funny
ОтветитьRa in DL was a deck that very few uses, but sneakily takes some tournament spots from time to time. You either disrupt them with any single card and they lose, or they otk you and send you to the shadow realm
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention that for a time Mokuba had a skill called 'Monstermorph Evolution' which allowed you to tribute a monster from your field with the same attribute and 1 level higher and summon it from your deck and ignoring any summoning conditions. It was used to turn Red-Eyes into Gandora to nuke the whole field AND it would stay on the field.
Ответитьcant wait for a red eyes synchro monster
ОтветитьFortune Lady got me my first KOG. Loved the deck.
ОтветитьI've won a few tournaments using Red-Eyes.
Ответитьcries in red eyes
ОтветитьRed-eyes, in due links, is kinda how cyber dragon is in the tcg.
Never the meta defining deck.
But always a scary, capable rogue deck that is bound to crop up.
I never had to deal with Yami Marik's power on Duel Links, but I remember when Fortune Lady and Witchcrafter became the meta. They were so strong and overwhelming. I actually did use to use Red-Eyes cards too and they were pretty fun. Never played it much, but also didn't fully realize just how crazy they were. Red-Eyes Slash Dragon was always on my decks. I also had Power of the Guardians + Amazoness Swords Woman combo. Simple, but effective. Somewhat easily taken care of tho because you can destroy the spell, take control of the equipped monster, return the equipped monster, and banishing would stop it.
Ответитьwhile no completive MD deck, i made a red-eyes+flame swordsman+ra deck (feat phoenix gearfried)
i am sry but joey just has the coolest monsters of the big 3 main duelists ...
and gearfried getting an immortal phoenix version imo kinda feels like a way of ra himself respecting Joey for almost defeating marik
where i think even if he wouldn't know the chant, he may have been worthy of wielding ra's power
Tannhauser gate really works with fortune fairy too.
ОтветитьWeren’t gladiator beasts actually good in the actual paper game?
ОтветитьThe main reason why which crafters where so good was lightsworn. it even got holiday and charge on the banlist.
ОтветитьMan forgot about red-eyes burn which plagued the duel links ladder
ОтветитьI can't believe fur hire isn't on this list
ОтветитьDuel Logs really out here directly attacking my favorite decks, wild
Ответить
