Nice looking shape right there
ОтветитьGood morning.
ОтветитьThanks! Was waiting for this review
ОтветитьSounds perfect!
ОтветитьAny videos of author’s ridin?
ОтветитьAny reason to get one if you have a Mercury? Legit asking for a friend
ОтветитьDoes capita miss on any board? Sheesh
Intrigued that you’ve had the union ultra as a binding recommendation on many boards for 2023.
Nice John RamBro....real nice bro
ОтветитьJust purchased one for Japan in February, I purchased the 2019 model so had to return to Japan with the new plank 🙏🏼
ОтветитьThanks for the review.
You recommended to pair with Union Ultras (among other bindings). Do you think this is still the case for 2023 Ultras, as they are now advertised as more freestyle-oriented binding to replace Contact Pros?
I like the colour coordinated photos from your binding recommendations.
ОтветитьHey boss, do you have any reviews for arbor boards coming up? Those are hard to find!
ОтветитьI'm looking for a powder, carving, fun board. I already have a capita mercury. Should I look for this one or slush slasher or warpig to match with my mercury?
ОтветитьI wanted this, but ultimately decided on a Jones hovercraft. I have a gnu gremlin for all mountain days with pow so I thought this would have too much overlap with the gnu.
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure this is the same as the party shark re-issue from last year with corque added. I got one (party shark) mid season last year and then it never dumped again. I can't wait for some deep snow this year.
ОтветитьI'm torn between the navigator and the jones frontier for powder/resort, you would recommend wich one?
ОтветитьBeen really wanting this board & was thinking of getting the 158. You think I would be good to go with that size board with a size 9 boot & 200lb weight or should I go with the 161?
ОтветитьHow does this thing compare to the Kazu? I've always assumed the Kazu was just a higher end version of this board whenever I walked past it in a shop, not sure how right I am in that assumption
ОтветитьBought it! Evo employee said he is buying one too. Thanks Avran.
ОтветитьDid this board change from last year?….I see a deal for last years model!
Ответить5'10 175lbs with size 8 boot. Should I go 155 or 158?
ОтветитьBetter this one or the Nidecker Mellow for a fun powder board to go trough the tree line?
I found both 2021/22 model at same prize, which one I have to buy and in what size??? 170lbs 5,60 intermediate level
In one sentence, what's the main difference between this board and the Capita Powder Racer ??? Thx
ОтветитьThis was a spot on review, which I watched after I just picked this up in 155. I don't look for powder but just like to have fun going fast and carving; it's amazing.
Me:
5 '10"
183 LB
Loadout:
Old Flow 5ive bindings
Well worn K2 Raiders
Patches of ice, sometimes is a problem, but you will be going so fast you wont care. I think the design of it lets you feel the terrain and it reacts when you want it to. Stupid light board also.
Finally a board to edge out the Archetype Avran ? by the way how is the new Archetype ? didnt you go for a bigger size one if I remember in one of your livestreams you mentioned ? I have the 162cm , helped raise my level of freeriding
ОтветитьThanks again for the content Avran! For the Navigator, could this be a quiver-of-one board? My friend is a progressing intermediate moving from an old Rome rocker board and he really liked riding my Endeavor Scout. Wants a directional board with camber that would be good in pow and trees, but primarily resort groomers and Sierra cement; doesn't plan to hit too much park. Also considering Dynamo, Ravine, and Terrain Wrecker (tho that might be a bit lively for what he's looking for). Thanks again!
ОтветитьWould this be a upgrade to a Mind expander twin? I love that board in pow but it gets bucked around a bit to much in uneven terrain and when you end up in groomers its only fun in slushy snow.
ОтветитьHoly crap I just got a smoking deal. Being budget minded would a set of Rome Vice work?
ОтветитьHey Avran! I’m looking to buy my first powder board but wanted some advice. I’m between the capita navigator or the Nidecker beta APX. I currently ride the gnu finest (all mountain) in a 157. Should I get get something similar in the 157-158 or go up to 161-162 for a pow board? My specs are 5’11-6ft and around 190-195 lbs without clothes. Please let me know! Thanks
ОтветитьYo angry! Good stuff as always! I’m looking to replace my 2019 Salomon Assasin Pro. Looking for better edge hold. Mostly will be used for freeride- carving/groomers and sometimes pow (when there is some in Alps). Is this board suitable for my needs? Or should i go to something like Ride shadowban/algorythm or K2 passport?
ОтветитьJust bought this board in 151 coming from a beginner board. I'm stoked to ride this!
Ответитьpowder twin vs navigator? any advice?
Ответитьwould Now Select Pro X (2022) bindings be a good match to this board?
ОтветитьLeaning towards this board or the Endeavor Archetype. Can you explain the difference and reasons why you would choose one over the other, Thanks?
160 lbs 9.5 boots 6ft tall
Hi Avran. Any idea why capita is changing the camber profile from alpine v1 to resort v2 for 23/24?
ОтветитьThanks for another killer review. I’m hung up on the Capita Navigator vs Bataleon Party Wave to add to the quiver for my playful surfy resort powder board.
You’ve have a chance to ride both. What’s your thoughts on which one would be a better surf around a resort?
Thanks.
Hey Avran. I'm looking at a Navigator 167 or a SP Powder Twin 162. 6'1, 200, size 12.5 boot.I ride the whole resort at Mt Hood Meadows OR, always looking for pow and tree runs. Surfy style, almost never switch. The width of the Powder Twin appeals to me, just worried it's too pow focused and the Navigator is maybe a better all-rounder? Which would you recommend?
ОтветитьHey Avran, just picked up a 155 on sale, I’m 172 lbs size 10 boot and looking to use this in Japanese powder….should I have looked for a 158 or will this be ok?
Thanks for the content
Thanks man! Just picked one up for this upcoming season! 😈😈
Ответитьgreat review, thanks. So! in my fifties, boarding 30plus years ,the yearly holidays, like to go fast, crave hard, stability important , few jumps, etc was looking at Capita BSOD, Merc, so hard ? would the navigator be the one for resort and off piste, Alps my playground ,thanks
ОтветитьIm looking into this capita navigator and telos backslash. Which would be more fun for all mountain?
Ответить
