Bourbon is a type of whiskey, my friend. All bourbon is whiskey, not all whiskey is bourbon. Therefore if you’re referring to whiskey broadly, you shouldn’t say “bourbon and whiskey”, just say whiskey.

Its a solid list but I think Elijah Craig Small Batch would be at the top of my best value bourbons. A lot easier to find than Buffalo Trace or Early Times.

Love every bottle on your list. Cooper’s Craft 100 is $32.99 by me, but still think it is a great value. I would add OGD 114, Evan Williams 1783, Larceny small batch and Elijah Craig small batch. 🥃

I agree. Go to those liquor stores that are in the sketchy areas. Often times you will find Dusty’s at pre whiskey craziness prices. I once found a place that had Wild Turkey bottlings from 2014.
