Ubisoft needs to drop the franchise. They will never be able to make a game that competes with nostalgia. It needs to be something fresh.

Assassin's creed is a series that needed to end on the third chapter. Even if Ubisoft creates a game that is basically an exact copy of AC 2, fans will still be mad about it, assassin's creed fans will never be happy. They should end the series and maybe create a new one set in various time periods without anything related to assassins or templars, just history and if they want some mythology, they never failed at doing so, Ancient Greece and medieval England were extraordinary.
