I forgot to ask how much they generally charge you for shipping?

I think for the price they are a nice option in a LP style. There are others out there. I'm happy with mine but to me Epiphones are the closest to the real thing. I sense a video coming. lol Epiphones cost a lot more than Fireflys do so that is a big consideration.

I like that Firefly mate. I think it’s got a nice finish on it and for the price you really can’t beat it!! I would be proud to have a single cut guitar that looks that sweet and sounds great 👍🏻!! Firefly has been working hard to make their brand more dependable for the everyday guitar player and this guitar is no exception. We don't have the firefly selection here that you have access to. The ones we do have are often well over 300cad... Maybe one day 🤞

Not sure if it was one your vids or not, watch too many of these guitar videos, but they were pointing out all the problems with the off-shape guitars by firefly. Basically it seems that firefly does a great 338, Les Paul, and SG style and the rest are not quite as good. I only have the aforementioned styles personally so that previous statement about the other shapes being less than setllar sometimes is made after watching more than a few review videos on the other shapes made by firefly. I think it comes down to firefly just making more of those types in comparison so they have more experience with them. Glad you also got a good one! As I said, I have a FF338 in red, and two of the FFSP Elites. They are both the Adam Jones models. So one is the Tiger Beauty and the other is the Gorgon model.

I have 6 Firefly guitars and I DID mod the hell out of some and change some things on others but I consider $200 the price of a good mod platform so I am happy.

Not sure if you or anyone else commented about this, but this guitar style looks like a Joe Perry Boneyard tribute. I know his models have aged yellow inlays.

If I was an entry level player or a home player with limited funds this would be my choice. It’s a nice looking guitar with good enough pickups to keep you happy
I really like the color and the aged looking hardware, nice binding and volume and tone knobs to get a wide variety of sound..
Definitely something to look at for the price..
As far as modding ? This project would be fun and possibly turn into a beast of an axe 🎸 😂

I heard somewhere, can’t remember if on a video or in a chat, but someone was saying that they suspect the Amazon fireflies are probably b-stock or something similar from guitars garden because of all of the reported issues people seem to have with them. Not sure why that would be a better option than just selling b-stock as such from your own site, but, what do I know?

My position on Firefly is that if they don't serve lefties or outside the US, eff 'em and the horse they rode in on. They make interesting guitars, but so do many others (who also need to get lefty models out there, like West Creek and Musi).

I own 6 LPs a bit of a pain to get them in Canada but they still come in under 400$ which is still not bad, been waiting for them to drop another lp with a matte finish, but they seem to take longer now to drop new models!

Nice guitar. I thought it sounded great right out of the box. I always think you can really find out what's going on with a guitar when you hear the clean tones and those clean tones were great. I think I'd enjoy having a play on this one.

Firefly guitars are just Chibsons with guilt-free inlays...and far fewer options and variety.

When you showed the backside of the Firefly, I noticed something that might be a trouble in the future. The pickup switch cover has a different screw pattern than a Gibson LP...meaning you will have to Jerry-rig a replacement if you need a replacement. The electronics cover also looks different than a standard LP. It is something to be aware of.... It is a little detail that can be a big PITA...like I found out recently while trying to restore a beat up Ibanez....which had a missing tremolo plate....which was not an exact replacement to a Stratocaster...so I had to reshape the replacement it on my wheel grinder to make it work.

The promise of these Chibsons and Fireflys and other similar guitars is that they can be upgraded or modified into something better....but these little 'differences' make it more of a challenge.

My first 'Real/'Excellent' Les Paul (Artist Guitars AP59 'Slash' Copy of course lol) was/is Life Changing. Everytime I pick it up it is SO inspirational, and I 'feel' it makes me play at my best ever ('feeling a little confidence' is half the battle lol). Strat Guy but Instantly get what people love about 'Les Pauls' each time I pick up mine. Enjoy. Another awesome Review/Demo Video. All The Best. Cheers
