Which Rabbit Breed Is Best? | Pet Rabbits

My rabbit is a dwarf rabbit. And lord..... he's so violent and unfriendly-- ever since the very beginning. He's learnt to calm down a bit but he still doesnt like a ton of contact. Oh well. He is how he is.

In my state it is illegal to sell rabbits so I couldn't just get one that looked nice at an adoption center, I had to research for a while and we finally found a Havana rabbit. Idk if she trusts me yet

Those bunnies are so chill😭😭 my Netherlands dwarf is 2 months old and she's always hyper & sprints around so much😭 she ran into her water bowl and her hands & feet were soaked😭😂 AND THEN SHE STARTS FIGHTING MY CARPET, WHAT HAS THE CARPET DONE TO YOU?!?!

I went to a shelter to look at a rabbit I had seen on their website and thought was so cute, I even had a name picked out. While at the shelter this rabbit had no interest in me at all.....instead I ended up adopting a different rabbit who had personality plus and seemed to be "picking me"; I adore him and am so glad he found me! lol Definitely agree personality is the key when choosing your bunny.

Some breeds are healthier than others, the ones bred for meat are typically bred for meat and growth rate, NOT longevity. Neutering and spaying can lengthen their lifespan, the best rabbits are bred from rabbits that aren’t neutered but are older and still breeding.

Older bucks and does that are still breeding at an advance stage of age are the best breeders. It shows that they are still healthy and long lived without being neutered(so imagine how long they can last without being neutered) and they carry good genetics for longevity.

I find the dutch breed the best breed (having two lionhead lop mix bunnies atm)
They are easy to train, smart as hell and super friendly.

I got a rabbit when I was 7, and before you say anything, I was absolutely super gentle with her, no worries. Anyways, she is known as Daisy, and when we got her, she came up to me, sniffing me, laying next to me, and i just fell in love with her. She's now 4 years old!

I have a rabbit but he was raised a eat rabbit. No I didn't buy him to eat him I bought him because I want him to 💩. I know what you thinking what kind of weirdo wants a rabbit to 💩. I am a fishing weirdo I want catfish ; and the best way to get catfish is using worms for bait. Worms love rabbit 💩.

I wouldn’t care about size but since I still am a kid who wants a rabbit I have limits. My parents want a small one and not a big one. If I end up connecting with a bigger size rabbit idk what I would do

I adopted a lop lionhead, i get so many comments that we look like each other.

I have a giant continental he is like a dog,he has a 10ft by 12 ft shed as a hutch with free run of the garden which is 40ft by 30ft people also need to take accommodation into consideration as the giant rabbits require giant living space

I remember when I was little. Around 6-8 years old when my older siblings raised different rabbits for 4-H so we knew all the breeds. And one time we were playing this trivia game with some friends and one of the questions they asked us was, name 5 famous rabbits. But we heard, name 5 breeds of rabbits. Or something like that. So my siblings went off on all the rabbit breeds and we must have named 20 or 30 of them. And then one of us in a joking way said, "Bugs Bunny!" And our friends had such funny confused looks on their faces. At the end we were so confident that we won. But the friends said, "No you only got one right." And they started reading the list, Roger Rabbit, Thumper, the Easter Bunny, Bugs Bunny. And i don't remember the rest xD but it was funny the looks on their faces like what planet are they on?
I always think about that when i watch these rabbit videos. 😂
