How To Defeat Destroyer In Terraria Master Mode

Holy Arrows got nerfed...

In last update, 1.3, I and my mage friend build little room in air, so worm was not be able to hit us. We just were standing in this room, I was shooting in worm, my friend protect me from orbs (I feel that I write this sentences completely wrong. Sorry). Now it didnt work?

If you don't want to use the daedalus stormbow: Ice sickle/ Amarok plus Nimbusrod.

The clouds basically kill the boss themselves and you just have to take care of the probes.

Edit: I did it on a mastermode world.
Adamantite armor (melee specification), the string for yoyos (I don't have cointerweights/ glove/ the bag), wormscarf, shield of cthulu, terraspark boots, leaf wings, warrior emblem, shackle. All reinforced for damage or defense.

Are you sure that holy arrows still aren't better for this fight? Piercing arrows get a damage reduction with stormbow.

This is the best guide I have seen. I was really struggling with this fight, and it's a genius tip to get him while he's curled up!

If you still have trouble somehow, then just get the Tome of Infinite Wisdom and kill it in 10 seconds

I struggled super hard with this fight but when I this vid i beat the destroyer 1st try! Keep using your magic on master mode guides!aster mode hardmode enemies are mini bosses of themselves... All your tips is rly helping me a lot! Keep up the great work!!! :D

It helped but all i did is made a medium box then a platform under then spawned the queen spider there, the queen spider is killing the destroy while me is taking care of the probes in the box

dont forget to equip a magic quiver while using the daedalus stormbow, as it will increase its damage and velocity, plus 20% chance to not consume arrow which will help alot!

i watched this video then i nearly beat destroyer but my luck
i was in the fight for like 15 minutes so the destroyer despawned
i legit needed 1 more minute

How to beat Destroyer:
Step 1 Wait 5 million years until the travelling merchant sells the Super Star Shooter (Use luck stuff for a more likely chance)

Step 2 Farm fallen stars

Step 3 F-ING DEMOLISH HIM

ive got a cheesy strat.
you need measure where your space starts
and put a block where the space starts
then go 102 blocks down
(so the wyverns dont spawn)
and put a little safety box and there you go just cheese the destroyer

Destroyer keeps destroying my framerate and with my potato laptop not being able to zoom out that much, im having a really hard time with him
Update: i accidentaly used the wrong summoning item and spawned skeletron prime and SOMEHOW beat him with ease

Cheaty was when you could spawn a boss and go to your spawn when bosses didnt despawn so you garantee kill them, good old times

MY DESTROYER IS WAY FUCKING HARD. IM A MAGE AND HAVE FULL ADAMANTITE AND METEOR STAFF, NIMBUS ROD, CRYSTAL SERPENT EVERYTHING. THE PROBES GET ME ALL THE TIME. I HAVE A GIANT ARENA. HELP

You can also use dart rifle or pistol. It worked better than the daedalus stormbow for me.

Another good tip is to use slime saddle to bounce on the destroyer. It helps tremendously

I 100% recommend having sanguine staff or pirate staff, it should really help if youre having problems with the probes :) if you dont have daedaulus storm bow u can also use onyx gun, not as good as Daedalus stormbow

what is better crystal assasin armour or adamantite armour im a ranged character btw
